Repair of under mentioned furniture items will be carried out as follows (Sl No 1.01 to 27.19):- (a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing,providing hinges, placing every part in-tact including polishing/painting the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.All furniture items is to be painted /poilshed only after making the entire item intact by tightening the joints. (b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/Md accns of GE (Air Force ) Bamrauli including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (From sl No 1.01 to 27.19) (c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood free from knots and cracks else specified in drg. (where ever applicable ) (d) Anti-termite and anti-bug treatment shall be done before polishing the wooden items. (where ever applicable) (e) M&L for melamine polish high gloss/mate finish with spray machine applying shellac,wood filler,shelar etc after removing of existing polish making surfae smooth by sanding and grinding with standard workmanship as directed by EIC to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. Note: All material will be used to execute the work should be supplied by contractor in full no peacemeal material will be execpted. (for wdn item ) (f) M&L for painting two coat of hammer Tone paint with shade as approved by EIC/GE over a coat of primer through spray machine , both internally & externally to the following furniture articles, viz F/FD/DB/MAP/TP series or similar items including removing of dust, dirts,dents etc and existing paint both internally & externally by applying paint remover/scrapping with emery paper without damaging to surface , applying putty to level the surface before primer/painting, all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. There will be a one day gap between every stage of painting. (for steel furniture)

Supply and fixing including preparation of various parts of bed hard (incl head board and foot board as per drg) , various type of tablen and chairs all other parts of various FD furniture articles in furniture yard as reqiured from Ist class teak wood (Shegun/ Assam teak) free from knots and well seasoned within permissible limit and as directed by Engr-In-Charge. All furniture in which parts are assembled will be polished as per Sl No 1 (e) above

Material and labour for preparation of old / new painted steel surfaces (external and internal duly rubbing the whole almirah including intenally and existing old paint from almirah by using emery paper) and applying powder coating paint as per drawing with stage passing with full satisfaction of E-in- Charge including preparation of surfaces and filling cavities with putty and primer wherever required complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.There should be atleast one day gap between every step of painting.

Material and labour for preparation of old/new wooden surfaces of any description by scrapping, rubbed down by emery paper including filled up the cracks and pores with a paste and with similar deco colour approved complete all as specified and as directed.

a) Anti-termite and anti-bug treatment shall be done before polishing the wooden items. b) M&L for melamine polish high gloss/mate finish with spray machine applying shellac,wood filler,shelar etc after removing of complete existing polish making surfae smooth by sand paper (Emery paper) with standard workmanship as directed by EIC to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. c) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units at OTM/Md Accn under the jurisdiction of GE (AF) Bamrauli including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
