REPAIR/MAINT OF BLDG ROOFS INCLUDING ROOF TREATMENT, REPAIRS OF CHHAJJAS, PARAPETS, ATT, PLINTH PROTECTION, FALSE CEILING, ROOFING AND ALLIED WORKS AND REPAIR/MAINT INCLUDING REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED ROOF SHEETS AND ALLIED WORKS IN ARJAN AREA AT AFS H

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (RCC water tank or similar type of RCC structure) of any description and in any position, not otherwise specifically provided for, complete all as specified and directed. (Note:-Reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition.)

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., separation of serviceable materials from the unserviceable, stacking the serviceable materials within 100m and disposal of unserviceable materials, debris and rubbish to a distance not exceeding 100m, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks old size, burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 mtr mean radius built in CM (1:4) including demolition of brick work, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of vegetation/grass etc including cutting holes into or through brick walls /concrete and removal of small trees/woods etc and making good disturbed surfaces with PCC (1:2:4), type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) surface area n. exc. 0.50 Sqm, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning/uprooting of vegetation/small trees, muds, garbages, waste etc growth on inaccessible RCC roof, AC sheet roof, below wind tie, cleaning of AC sheet/CGI sheet, valley gutter and shaft portion of wall surfaces, back side of toilet portion, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing PVC water tanks of size exc. 500 ltr & n. exc. 1000 ltr capacity, setting aside (or lowering, if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting, if required, reconnecting and re-fixing in position (cleaning, repairng etc measured separately), complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old damaged tarfelt or membran of any description including screed bed or bedding layer and removing of debris to a distance exc. 50m and n. exc. 100m and cleaning roof surfaces to remove all loose dust etc., roughening surfaces of old concrete roof by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water using wire brush, brooming down and applying the following treatment all as directed in order of precedence as stated: (a) Brushing neat cement slury with 3.0 kg of cement per Sqm. (b) 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in CM (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instruction on existing roof surface true to level. (c) Applying one coat of bituminous primer @ 0.40 Ltr/Sqm. (d) Supply and laying 3mm thick APP based polymeric membrane of approved manufactured with weight not less than 3.50 Kgs per Sqm reinforced with non-woven polyester fabric weighing not less than 160gms per Sqm having softening point not less than 15°C, having tensile strength of 650 N/Sqcm and 350 N/Sqcm in longitudinal and transverse directions respectively of the reinforced tearing strength of 180 N by torch application. Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 30cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing. (e) Applying one coat of aluminium paint @ 0.11 Kg/Sgm over APP membrane surface. Note:- (i) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done torch on method as per manufactures instructions. (ii) A minimum overlap of 150mm and 100mm should be made at the end and sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and sealed all overlaps and joints as per manufacturers instruction. (iii) APP based polymeric membrane shall be of any one of the approved makes as specified here-in-after and shall conform to specifications given in IS 16540-2017/1S 16532 2017. (iv) Contractor shall produce necessary test certificate of the manufacturer to the Engr-in-Charge before incorporation in the work. (v) Necessary independent tests shall also be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the Deptt as per relevant IS specifications and membranes with satisfactory test results shall only be incorporated in the work. (vi) The work shall be executed through authorised applicators of original manufacturer only. (viI) WPC shall bemeasured and paid separately as 'supply only'.

S&F rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks, triple layered, (cylindrical vertical with closed top) ISI marked, confirming to IS 12701-1989, hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I (500 ltr capacity) including 20mm Nipple suitable for HDPE water tank and 20mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball, screwed for iron pipe and fixed to 20mm bore pipe inculding dismantling of old unserviceable water tank of any capacity, complete all as specified and directed.
