REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS AT CME PUNE UNDER GE (CME) KHADKI

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm Exc 50 mm and n mm deep exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

Laying only (Except material) and compacting 75mm thk (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), ((obtained from item above screening road metal) spread rolled and consolidated to gradient materials and camber required (type of aggregate granite, trap or basalt), except material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

Laying and compacting 75mm thk (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread rolled and consolidated to gradient materials and camber required (type of aggregate granite, trap or basalt), except material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

Laying and compacting 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradien and camber complete all as specified and directed The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

M &L Preparing unsurfaced WBM/WMM/bituminous macadam surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms, and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bag to remove all loose dirt etc and for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer VG-10 @ 7.5 kg per 10 Sqm with sprayer over existing surface etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

M & L Premix bituminous macadam bitumen (VG-30) with 4% binder content using paving bitumen) by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

M & L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer( paving bitumion) VG-10 @ 2. 5 kg per 10 Sqm with sprayer over bituminous macadam/existing black top etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

Preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes and removing caked mud etc sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc . complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

M & L for bituminious premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content( paving bitumen VG- 30) by weight of total mix all as per job mix formula, duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge . Note : Hand rolling, ramming shall be carried out in angles, edges, bell mouth, curves etc. where a roller cannot be worked, with entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge, The contractors quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following elements (i) The contractor shall got the mix design done through Govt approved lab and same shall be got approved from GE before incorporating in the work. (ii) In case variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quanity of bitumen shall be adjusted with price adjustment.
