M&L preparing the existing black top surface with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose, dirt etc.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exc. 400 sqm (exc 50mm but n.exc.100mm deep)

M&L soling (or sub base) 150mm thick with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed & rolled and consolidated to required gradient & camder.

M&L 150mm thick (in two layers of 7.5cm thick) (compacted thickness) WBM, with granite trap or basalt coarse aggregates of grading 2 ( 63 to 40mm size) or grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient & camber required.

M&L applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen bituminous primer at 10 Kg per 10 Sq Meters.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam consolidated thickness 75mm or less, using 4% binder i.e paving bitumen grade VG-30 by weight or total mix and aggregate mixed in computerized hot mix plant laid rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with the help of mechanical paver and power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm (consolidated thickness) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix. mixed in computerised hot mix plant and spread by means of self prepelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechancial power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity incl applying evenly a primer/tack coat with biuminous primer using paving biutmen of grade VG-10@5Kg/10 Sqm on bituminous macadam surface complete all as specfiied and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L cement concrete type E-2, 1:5:10 (using 40mm garaded stone agg) in foundations, filling, mass concrete and sub-base, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 150mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded Agg) as in sub-base.

Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns drive wayes or light trafic parking etc, of required strength , thickness & size/shape, made of table vibratory method using PU mould laid in required colour and patttern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver block into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joint with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement 3 coarse sand), including marking joints with or without grooves( thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.

M&L for reparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre line, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like nexc 10cm wide of roads paverments with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
