Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth or n exc 10 Sqm on plan & getting out, for laying of pipes, foundations etc. and getting out including triming and forming bottom surface complete, all as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms thick in soft / loose soil back in trenches after pipes have been laid and tested, complete all as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point in soils complete all as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing ductile iron pipe having nominal diameter DN 100mm with socket and spigot ends class K9 of wall thickness not less than 6.0mm and working pressure 60kg/cm2 minimum complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing rubber tyton ring joints suitable for ductile iron pipe class K9 having 100mm nominal dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, connecting and testing of sluice valve for 100 mm dia pipe, class PN- 1.6 double flanged with CI body, iron wheel head and brass spindle and check nut etc, non rising type IS-14846-2000 marked including jointing materials i.e. rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing and installing Strainer Y type suitable for 100 mm dia DI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for ductile iron pipe fittings ISI marked like bends, tapers, tail pieces, tee, branch pieces (single/double) any type and angle/radius and straight connecting pieces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cutting existing 100mm bore cast iron pipe in position for insertion of new tee, branches etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for construction of brick masonary valve pit chamber Type 'B' 1200X1200X1200mm size (internal dimension) with bricks, old size, built in CM 1:4, PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 as in foundation concrete bed/ floor, 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on internal and exposed external surfaces, (external plaster shall be upto 15 cm below ground level) and mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement with and including MS cover 03 mm thick MS sheet welded with 40x40x6 mm size angle iron frame fixed to top of valve pit by means of hold fast 150mm long, embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 bed alround, with locking arrangements including excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, painting exposed steel surfaces with two coats of anti corrsive paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as shown on drawings, specified and directed. Note : (i) Drg No AF/TD/240/15 Sheet 1/2 and 2/2. (ii) Valve pit shall be Type 'B' but size shall be as mentioned above.
