COMPREHENSIVE REPAIRS OF ROOFING AND CONNECTED WORKS AT ALL AREAS UNDER AGE B/R-II OF GE MINNIEBAY, SRI VIJAYA PURAM

Demolition of existing water proofing treatment by brushing with wire brush, cleaning of terracing by taking down , existing plaster etc, cleaning of all foreign material such as fungus mass dust etc, roughing surface of corner to roof by wire brush etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L plain cement concrete with type B1 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) avg thickness 40mm in roof padding concrete, kerbs or mud stops or rounded or chamfered on edge mixed with WPC as per manufacture's instruction complete all as specifed and directed.

M & L for 10 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:3 in roof surfaces mixed with WPC as per manufacture's instruction complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F for Applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 1.2 kg per sq.m including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for laying APP modified water proofing treatment over existing RCC roof slab with following specification including brushing off the surface to receive the treatment obtain the required surface :- (a) Applying bituminous primer @ 1.2 kg/Sqm on the prepared dry roof surface. (b) Laying min 3mm thick APP membrane Plain finish weight not less than 3 to 4 kg per sqm by torch application with minimum 10cm side lap and 15cm end lap. (c) Applying two coat of aluminium paint incl preparartion of surface. Note :Laying of APP membrane shall be got done through an authorized applicator of manufacturer.

M&L for Preparation of any surface as directed over the roof and applying two coats of aluminium paints complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not other wise provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc.conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Steel work in tubular trusses including welding,fitting special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I. S.1161- 1979 grade St.-240 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for MS Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted, bolted or welded attachment confirming to Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250) quality- A etc., complete all as specified and as directed.
