M&L for checking and measuring of earthing resistance value of building indicated by removing and isolating earth conductor from test terminal block and measure the earth resistance using digital ohm meter(Earth resistance tester) and note down the readings and refixing all earthing items in original position, obtain the signatures of authority concerned complete all as specified and as directed Note1: Testing to be done by qualified technician/electrician in the presence of MES authorities . Note2: Contractor should arrange labour & testing equipment along with necessary connecting copper wires , earth rods all misc items required for satisfactory completion of job and is deemed to be included in the rate quoted

Disconnection and removing the existing unserviceable earthing and M & L of Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 m below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to GI earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nut, check nuts and washers etc of galvanised iron and earth lead protected by provision of GI pipe 15 mm bore of medium grade from earth electrode to DBs/Main switch all as shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part I and connected to main switch board including excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC chamber in 1:2:4 Type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate 75 mm thick RCC cover in 1:2:4 type B-1 reinforced with 6mm dia bars at 75mm c/c both ways with 12mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, 20 mm dia medium grade GI watering pipe perforated at bottom with funnel and wire mesh, common salt and charcoal filling complete including testing on completion all as specified (Note: GI pipe 15mm dia & GI earth lead 4mm dia upto 7.5 m length is deemed to be included in quoted rate).

M & L in replacement of Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire

Disconnection and removing the existing unserviceable earthing and M & L of Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx3 mm thick electrode buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected to copper earth strip 20x3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc of copper and earth lead protected by provision of GI pipe 40 mm bore of medium grade from earth electrode to test point incl provn of concrete pit in PCC(1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate with 40 mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM (Weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) PCC cover with handle and with 6 mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, GI pipe medium grade 20 mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom1.75 mtr long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt (100 KG) and charcoal(100 KG) and BFC(100KG) compound filling with alternate layers test point made out of Bronze/Gun metal with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and earth work in hard/dense soil, returning in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr, all as per Electricalplate No 5 of SSR Part-I and connection to earth test point all as specified incl testing on completion. (Note1: copper earth strip and protection pipe 40 mm bore GI medium grade beyond 7.5 mtr will be measured and paid seperately under the respective item of the schedule Note2: Testing of earth resistance done by the qualified technician/electrician at his own arrangements and maximum acceptable earth resistance should be less than 5 Ohm . Supply and lay in replacement of 'Medium grade',galvanised steel tube of dia 40 mm ,on roof for fixing of lightening arrester including taking down with necessary fixing arragements using PCC all as specified and as directed

S & F twin core flexible twisted copper conductor wire 1.1 KV for Phase(Red) and neutral(Black) for connecting light/switch /socket etc. as per site requirement including taking down old unserviceable one compelte complete all as specified and as directed
