Cloth Angola for Shirt (1.63 mtrs.)/No or similar.:-i)The yarn used to manufacture the fabric shall be made from uniform and intimate blend of 50-50 poly wool in drab shade. ii)The fabric shall be uniformly woven in plain wave and the selvedge shall be firm and straight, the fabric shall be well signed. The fabric shall be heat set and fully shrunk. iii)No major flaws (defects) in the fabric are allowed. No flag allowance will be accepted for the major flaw (defects) iv)The number of pieces to be selected at random form a lot for inspection shall be accorded and method of test as per IS:8331 :2003. v)The manufacturer name of trade mark shall be woven on the both side of selvedge throughout the length using suitable yarn. The same shall be clearly visible even after processing/finishing. vi)Material to be supplied in a cut length of cloth for cloth shirting Angola 1.63 mtrs. Each number/piece shall be packed in button down/seal tape poly bag printed with RAILWAY PROTECTION FORCE, EAST COAST RAILWAY, BHUBANESWAR.

Special Eligibility Criteria

   Bidders must fulfil the "Conditions of RESPONSIVENESS" mentioned in the tender document, failing which, their offer will be summarily rejected.

   Railway reserves the right to procure the material from proven sources/ manufacturer as per the following clauses: (i) Tenderers with satisfactory past performance for the tendered item or similar item (similar means any type/size/colour of cloth shirting angola) for 20% and above of tendered quantity against cumulative orders in at least one of the last three completed Financial years and up to the tender opening date to any Zonal Railways/ Central/State Govt Organizations/PSUs/Public Listed Companies will only be eligible for full/bulk order. (ii) Tenderers who have some past performance, but not exceeding 20% of tendered quantity for the tendered item or similar item (similar means any type/size/colour of cloth shirting angola) against cumulative orders in at least one of the last three completed Financial years and up to the tender opening date to any Zonal Railways/ Central/State Govt Organizations/PSUs/Public Listed Companies will be considered for developmental order upto 20% of tendered quantity. (iii) For (i) & (ii) tenderers to submit relevant documents (such as copies of Receipt note for stock items. Receipted Challan / Inspection Certificate / tax invoice for Non-stock items) along with their offer. In case the tenderers do not submit the requisite documents along with their offer, the tender will be decided on the basis of their past supply performance records as available with ECoR (if any).
