TERRACE PUMPS Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Motor driven Centrifugal End Suction Pump Set for fire fighting system of following capacity & head along with all accessories with CI casing, Stainless Steel shaft, standard fittings, bronze impeller, love joy coupling to the electrical driven TEFC, squirrel cage induction motor suitably rated, with synchronous speed not exceeding 3000 rpm, Class-F insulation, IP-55, rated to operate at 415 v +/- 10%, 50 Hz +/- 3%, 3 phase AC supply, including supply of MS common base plate frame and installing pump set on it alongwith suitable cement concrete foundation (design and drawing to be provided by contractor), foundation bolts, coupling guard, anti vibration pads and other accessories & connecting and jointing with suction & delivery piping with necessary reducers, enlargers, flanges etc, complete as per specifications, drawings and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. Providing weather proof hood fabricated from 5 mm. thick UV stabilised FRP above each pump & motor to protect it from weather as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M.S SEAMLESS PIPES Supply, Installation, Testing and Commisioning of MS seamless pipe of following Sizes and conforming to ASTM 106 A, Grade B with all fittings, flanges, jointing, supports (Support for piping shall be paid separately) and painting with two coats of anti corrosion paints over two coats of red oxide primer (for laying above ground) and including providing wrapping with 4 mm thick PYPKOTE(corrision protection tape) with adhesive / coats as required(for laying underground) including all the hardware, complete in all respects of work, all as per drawings, specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. 2 WAY SIAMESE CONNECTIONS Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Siamese connections having two numbers of 63 mm diameter G.M/SS inlet (instantaneous male coupling) along with one number 100 mm diameter C.I. double flange non return valve of rating PN 1.6 conforming to IS 5312 with G.M working parts, one number 50 mm dia G.M drain valve of class-2 conforming to IS 778 and fittings all connected to 100 mm diameter MS pipe with necessary fittings including blank caps, flanges and joints, welding etc. and supplying and fixing of inlet housing box made out of 14 gauge M.S Sheet with angle and frame of suitable size and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of approved primer over pipes and housing box and white enamel paint inside housing box complete in all respects as per specification and as instructed by E-I-C.
HOSE REEL WITH DRUM Providing & fixing rubber hose reel of 20 mm diameter x 37 m along with swinging drum along with high pressure braided rubber hose conforming to IS 884 including 8 mm diameter SS cut off nozzle on one end, wall mounting type, necessary brackets suitable for wall mounting, fixing on wet riser cum downcomer including connecting the other end to the wet riser cum downcomer by providing necessary connecting nipple/coupling, nuts, bolts etc. and providing & fixing 20 mm dia G.M. peet valve of approved make all complete including painting (the drum and brackets shall be painted with two coats of signal red enamel paint from outside and white enamel paint from inside) & as shown and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
HOSE CABINET Supply, installation & commissioning of 1.6 mm thick MS sheet metal hose cabinet of size 750x650x250 mm for accomodating 02 nos. of hose pipes (measured & paid seperately under relevent SOQ item) and SS-304 branch pipe with nozzle or hosy branch pipe with nozzle. The box shall have front glass door lock with angle iron frame. The hose pipe box shall be fixed with Hilti make Anchor Fastner on the wall or nut bolts (in case of stand in open space) as shown in the drawing and as directed by EIC. The MS box shall be painted with two coats of signal red enamel paint from outside and white enamel paint from inside. The scope also includes supplying of gun metal / stainless steel branch pipe of 63 mm dia. fitted with detachable hexagonal nozzle of 19 mm dia. conforming to IS : 903 or universal pattern as per IS : 2871. The branch pipe with detachable nozzle shall be placed in the hose cabinet complete in all respect as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
HOSE PIPE (For Hydrants, Landing Valve) Supply and installation of Unlined Flax Canvas (hose pipe) for fire fighting conforming to RRL fire hose type A or Synthetic Fibre Woven-Jacket (SFWJ) Elastomeric fire hose type B conforming to IS:636 all with ISI marks as required and of approved make and of 63 mm dia & 15 mtrs length, fitted with male and female SS coupling confirming to IS:903, ISI marks with guaranteed bursting pressure of 35.7 kg/sq.cm and complete as per the technical specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. Each set shall comprise of 2 hose pipes.
PRESSURE GAUGES (Range of 0 - 10 Kg/cm2) Supply, installation testing and commisioning of pressure gauges of SS material with dial not less than 150 mm dia of appropriate range and complete in all respects with shut off gauge, cocks , all fittings etc, duly calibrated before installation in MKS and FPS units and duly tested after installation as per drawing and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
AIR RELEASE VALVES Providing and fixing 20/25 mm dia. (PN - 1.6, Type-S1, Flanged, ISI marked) air release valve conforming to IS - 14845 : 2000 with Double Flange isolating valve (pressure rating PN 1.6) including making necessary flanged joints and providing all fitting materials nuts, bolts etc. and providing T on the pipeline for its installation at site all as per technical specification, drawings and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
M.S. SUPPORTS/ STRUCTURE Supply, cutting, fabrication, welding, erecting & fixing in position of M.S. support/structure (angle, channel, beam, plate, chequered plate etc.) for steps and other purpose (not applicable for items for which supports are already included in the item) including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make & shade over a coat of approved steel primer all as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. Material shall conform to IS-2062.
VALVE CHAMBERS Construction of brick masonary valve chambers made out of 230 mm thick brick masonry in cement mortar 1:4 over a bed of 150 mm thick cement concrete of grade M-15 for foundation with 150 mm extended all round the walls, including providing and fixing suitable size staircase for landing inside the chamber. The staircase shall be fabricated out of 25 mm dia. M.S pipe and 6 mm thick M.S Sheet suitably painted with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint. Racking out joints & plastering in cement mortar 1:3, 20 mm thick both on internal and external surfaces, internal surfaces finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement. Providing 6 mm thick Aluminum chequered plate in sectional construction with suitable lifting arrangement and painting. It shall be complete as per technical specifications, drawings and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. NB.: The cost of all the items mentioned above is to be included under this item and no extra payment shall be made.

FLEXI DROPS Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of sprinkler flexible drop pipes made of corruggated SS tubing to withstand 16 bar pressure with welded reducer on one end to directly accomadate sprinkler & female checknut on the other end to connect to the branch pipe with supports complete [Length 1.5 mtr, FM & UL approved]
FIRE ALARM VALVE Supplying, installation and fixing in position 150 mm dia fire sprinkler alarm valve HD / TYCO make with inlet and outlet connections, pressure gauges etc complete as per drawings, technical specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Proividing & fixing of Dry Chemical Powder (ABC) type fire extinguisher of 04 Kg capacity either portable or trolley mounted as per approved make fitted with pressure indicating gauge, internal tube, squeeze lever type valve fully charged with ABC powder (Mono Ammonium Phosphate) pressured by Nitrogen complete in all respects including wall suspension bracket and conforming to IS 15683-2006. The Fire extinguisher shall be supplied and placed without any damage, scratches and loss of accessories as per specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing & fixing of CO2 type fire extinguisher of 4.5 Kg capacity either portable or trolley mounted, highly effective against B & C class of fire, having ISI certification mark, having flat base including valve, discharge hose & complete in all respects including initial fill with CO2 gas conforming to IS 15683:2006, wall suspension bracket as required & as per instructions of Engineer In Charge. The Fire extinguisher shall be supplied and placed without any damage, scratches and loss of accessories as per specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.

PART - I :-Civil Works PART I-A : SUB STRUCTURE
Earth work excavation over areas by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means to required profile, level, grade, camber etc. in all soils as mentioned below (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.50m in width as well as 10sqm on plan area) for mass excavation including dressing of excavated area, filling the plinth/ low spots/ areas with approved excavated earth in layers not exceeding 150 mm, watering, consolidation to obtain 90% proctor density etc. and stacking/ disposing the surplus excavated materials within a lead of 300 m and all inherent lifts etc. to the required location etc complete all as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Routine Lateral load testing of single pile with free pile head for working capacity of 4.7T in accordance with IS 2911 (Part-4) latest for determining safe allowable lateral load on pile etc. complete as per drawing, as per technical specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Cement concrete for the following works at all levels and locations of specified mix using graded stone aggregate of 20mm. maximum size including necessary form work, machine mixing, transporting, placing in position, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Nominal reinforcement if provided shall be measured & paid under relevant item.
P C C M-10 grade in bed concrete to foundations, pedestals, encasing etc.

Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) confirming to IS : 4926 (latest) in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC items supplied by approved RMC manufactures for all type of structural elements/ RCC elements including transporting, pumping etc. complete as per instruction of the Engineer in charge. Notes: i) The contractor shall obtain prior approval of RMC manufacturer from Engineer in Charge in writing. ii) This item shall be measured in addition to the original items of RCC and PCC mentioned elsewhere in schedule of quantities substructure., iii) The rate shall apply for all levels and locations including all type of structure etc. complete. iv) Extra for RMC in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC of any grade mentioned elsewhere including SWD etc. shall be measured and paid under this item for sub structure
Providing, erecting, fixing in position striking / removing and cleaning steel / timber shuttering & centering for form work in foundation, plinth at all levels and locations for all geometrical shapes in plain, curved surfaces of structural / RCC elements including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:- a) Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment. (stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment). b) The rate of formwork shall include all type of structural / RCC elements and geometric shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces.
Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all locations & levels and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D manufactured by SAIL, TATA STEEL, JSW and RINL only. Note:- The cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor and binding wire shall not be measured for payment.
Brick masonry work in foundation and plinth, cable pits, trench, steps, storm water drain, footpath etc. at all locations using well burnt bricks from approved lot, of class designation 7.5 (classification as per IS 1077-1992 and min. average compression strength not less than 7.50 N/mm2 ) in C.M 1: 6 to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints / simultaneous flush pointing with cement mortar 1:4, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge. Notes for brick masonry:- i) One brick wall thickness shall be considered as 230 mm & lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up accordingly by the contractor by applying cement mortar of mix 1:4 in proper line, level & plumb without any extra,cost to the department. ii) The rate shall include cost of making the brick masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department. iii) The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks from the Engineer-In- Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work iv) Necessary openings, nitches, cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost.
Cement plaster in single coat of 20mm thickness with cement mortar 1:4 mix for internal brick/concrete surfaces for all walls and beams flush with walls, mullions , UG tank, cable pits, trenches, chambers, steps, storm water drain, top of coping etc. at all levels, heights, slopes and location on plane or curved surfaces including preparing the surface even and smooth to correct line, level, plane and plumb including scaffolding, curing etc complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Notes for plastering works a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall,be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer in Charge. b) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the Department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams.

Sand faced plaster in two coat cement finish with water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturers specifications.
Providing & spreading of red garden soil free from stones, pebbles, grass , weeds etc. at site brought from outside borrow as per specification and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The measurements will be taken as per truck body diamensions filled with red soil without any deduction for voids.
Disposing off the surplus excavated materials /debris etc. beyond initial lead as mentioned in relevant items by mechanical transport to the near by dumping pits/ dumping areas inside campus with all leads including all lifts, loading, unloading, stacking, spreading, levelling etc. complete as per drawings, specifications & as directed by the Engineer in charge., Note :- i) Voids @ 20% for soils and 50% for soft rock/ hard rock shall be deducted from fully loaded truck measurements to arrive at the net quantity for payment in case direct measurement is not possible. ii) Royalty for excavation, transportation, filling of earthwork etc. including obtaining permission from statutory authority, if any shall be borne by the contractor.
Providing and laying dry rubble stone hard core soling of following consolidated thickness in sub base to floor, in plinth protection, footpath and other miscellaneous works to required levels and lines with first quality rubble, hand set, well packed including filling the interstices with smaller stone chips, supplying & finishing / blinding the surfaces with approved blinding quality moorum including watering, consolidation etc. complete as per specification, drawings & as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supplying and spreading pesticides CHLORPYRIPHOS or other chemical approved by central insecticides board as directed by the manufacturer and spraying the mixture uniformly by sprayer as pre-construction anti-termite treatment (at the rate of 7.5 liters per sq.m. on vertical surface and 5 ltrs. per sq.m. on horizontal surfaces(or as directed by the manufacturer ) within the trenches, 50% of the emulsion to be filled in the holes made in trenches at 150mm. centre to centre etc. complete as per IS 6313 Part-II. PART -I-F : FLOORING WORK Notes : a) The floor finish level shall be generally in level matching with the surrounding floor finish level. No extra payment shall be entertained for matching the floor differences. b) Adjustment of levels in thickness of mortar bedding due to different types of flooring, if any, shall be done by the contractor without any extra cost to the Department. c) The contractor shall submit and get approved the sample for flooring, skirting, dado tiles from Engineer in,Charge before bulk procurement. d) Pattern & design of flooring/ skirting/ dado shall be approved by the Engineer in Charge before commencement of work. e) Exposed edges of all natural stones used for the works like Kotah, Marble, Granite etc.shall be machine cut and shall have uniform thickness and mirror polished unless otherwise mentioned. f) The rate shall include cost of making the flooring to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department. g) All Kota stone work shall be mirror polished to get high gloss finish and the rate shall be inclusive of the same in the respective item. h) The sizes of stones/ tiles mentioned for flooring are approximate and subject to the availability in market during execution. If the required size is not available the next higher size of tiles/ stones shall be used without any extra cost to the Department.The contractor may quote accordingly i) Wherever dissimilar floor finishes are placed adjacent, 3mm thick x 25mm wide aluminium flat dividing strips shall be provided by the contractor without any additional cost to the Department.
Providing machine mixing and laying in approved panels of 40mm thickness IPS flooring in cement concrete mix of 1:2:4 using graded stone aggregate of 12.5 mm maximum size with colouring pigment, at all level, well vibrated, compacted including providing and fixing 25 mm x 3 mm thick aluminium dividing strip for panel of about 2 sqm size, to correct level and finished smooth and curing including preparation of surface by cleaning, hacking and exposing aggregate to achieve the best bond, all complete as per specification drawing & as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Providing & laying machine cut and machine mirror polished (pre-polished) kotah stone for treads / risers / steps / ramps etc as mentioned below, laid over cement mortar bedding/ backing, close jointed and pointed with matching cement slurry and finished to line, level plumb etc. as required, including curing, cutting of stone slab, making cut outs, wherever required, wastage etc. to get true square edges and final hand polishing all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge. a) For treads 25mm uniform thick in single piece in length up to 1500mm (approx.) laid over 20mm thick,cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 sand) bedding, including providing factory cut three Nos. of antiskid 12x3mm @15mm centre to centre grooves including half round moulding / champhering the edges polishing etc.complete. b) In riser 20mm/18mm uniform thick in single piece in length up to 1500 mm (approx.) laid over 12mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement :3 sand) backing including making recess at top and bottom as shown in drawing complete. Note: i)The tread and risers are to be polished at factory. The exact size are to be laid without any further cutting and polishing. ii) The grooves are to be cut at factory to maintain the gap uniform. Non uniform groove size and irregular gaps between grooves shall not be accepted and rejected forthwith iii) The contractor is to take appropriate step to protect the polishing surface of the floor, tread and riser by providing and laying 6mm thick POP during construction period. Providing and fixing vitrified clay tiles of approved manufacture at all floors and location of size 230mm x 115mm x 10mm/ 200mm x 100mm x 10mm or approved size, colour and shades with approved combinations etc. for cladding over sloped / vertical wall, parapet, chajjas, facia, fins etc. of all geometrical shape with 12 mm thick 1:3 cement mortar backing and fixing the tiles with approved quality exterior grade, tile adhesive of M/s. Fosroc or at par approved quality of approved manufacturer and pointing the joints with matching cement , in plumb, line, level, scaffolding including double scaffolding all complete as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Providing and fixing 6mm thick POP protection cover to granite/ vitrified/ceramic tile floors over polythene covering sheet to flooring areas till handed over to users; it shall be removed and disposed off prior to handing over and cleaning, etc. all complete to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge.

PART I-G : DOORS AND WINDOWS Notes : a) The items of door frames, window frames shall include sealing the joints all round with the brick work /concrete and doors or windows with approved mastic filler cement grout/ epoxy compound /polysulphide compound by the contractor at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge to make the joints watertight. b) The work contemplated under the item for supplying and fixing the window/door frames shall be got done by the contractor through specialised agencies in the field, approved by the Department. c) One sample each of the door frame, shutter and window,with all fittings and fixtures alongwith locking arrangement including glass panes etc. complete as per schedule of quantities, drawing and specifications should be submitted for preliminary inspection before procurement on large scale. The contractor shall submit six copies of shop drawings for windows, ventilators and steel door with frames showing dimensional details of construction etc. for approval of the Engineer-in-charge. After preliminary inspection, the sample should be fixed. Defects etc.if any shall be rectified to the full satisfaction of the Department and after obtaining formal approval in writing of Engineer in charge. d) Door frames, shutters and the windows to be supplied and fixed in position should cater the dimensional tolerance of the openings to an extent of (+/-) 2%. The rates quoted by the tenderers should hold good for such variation. Test shall be conducted by the Department for the flush doors as per IS-2202-1983 Part-I from each consignment and the cost incurred on this account shall be borne by the contractor. e) For bonding the flush doors, block boards, ply wood and all types of wood works, phenol- formaldehyde synthetic resin type adhesives conforming to IS-848-1957 shall be used. f) The rate shall include cost of making the doors & windows including glass etc.in all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.

PART - I-I ~ WATERPROOFING TREATMENT: Notes:- a) The contractor shall get written approval from the Engineer in Charge, for the water proofing agency engaged and shall submit the specification of the waterproofing before commencement of work. b) The contractor shall test the surface where water proofing treatment is provided, for bone dry condition by filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shall appear on the surrounding wall or under side of the slab. c) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on,appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Section 10 (iii) of Conditions and Clauses of Contract - 2008 for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treated area in bone dry condition for 10 years. During the guarantee period the contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification within a weeks time from the date of intimation about such leakages/defects. d) The Contractor shall keep the water tank filled with water after the water proofing work has been completed and shall clean it before handing over. At no time shall the water tank be kept empty. Testing for the bone dry condition for the water proofing work carried out shall again be done, before handing over the flats/building if found necessary by the Engineer in Charge.
Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment of the agency approved by department, including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, terraces etc. mixing with water proofing compound as per IS : 2645 :2003, with average thickness of 115mm and minimum thickness at drain point as 65 mm as per following steps. a) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm. of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over the RCC slab including cleaning the surface before treatment. b) Laying cement concrete using broken bricks/brick bats 25mm to 100mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over 20mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary waterproofing compound. d) Finishing the surfaces with 20 mm thick joint less cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound and finally finishing the surface to receive the China Mosaic waterproofing treatment (to be paid under relevant items). e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order, as directed and specified by the Engineer in Charge.
Extra for additional thickness of brick bat coba over and above standard average thickness of 115 mm for effective slope wherever required.
Filling in bath, W/C, toilet, depressed areas with water proofing brick bat coba of the agency approved by the Dept. at all floors and locations upto the required level and making the surface finished suitable to receive floor finish etc. all complete as per drawings and water proofing agency's specifications & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Providing cement based waterproofing treatment to the inside surface of water tank by giving injections to concrete bottom slab and walls as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill up all inherent holes, voids, honeycombs etc. in concrete and treating the floor and walls with waterproof mortar as per specifications of specialised waterproofing agencies, finishing smooth with trowel in cement colour and testing of water tank by filling up with water as per specifications etc. the thickness of treatment on the floor will be 50mm and on the walls about 20 mm all complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by the Engineer in Charge
Providing china mosaic water proofing over concrete/ plastered surface of horizontal, vertical, sloped/ curved surfaces, rounded vatas, sharp corners, junctions etc., using broken pieces of approved single colour ceramic tile laid over and including 20mm thick cement mortar 1:3 screed mixed with approved waterproofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement, cost of all materials, labour, curing, breaking the tiles to the pieces of required size and shape, laying / fixing the tile pieces to the required line, slope, levels etc., providing extra screed as required for quick & easy flow of water, curing etc., at all heights including necessary scaffolding, cleaning the surface initially with saw dust and finally with acid all as per specifications and,as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

PART I - J : PLASTERING WORK : Notes :- a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge. b) Whenever the electrical contractor/ agency has to fix up switch boxes in walls, necessary Thiyyas or 'Dhadas' shall be arranged prior to plastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properly in line with the finished plastered surfaces. c) Finishing around the junction boxes shall be done at,all floor, level and position to the line, level and right angles as required while carrying out plastering work. d) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams for new and old surfaces.
Cement plaster in single coat with cement mortar at all floors, heights, slopes and locations on plain or curved surfaces including rounding wherever required to prepare the surface even and smooth to correct line, level, plane and plumb including scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

White washing in three coats in all floors and locations for concrete /wall surfaces in shafts including sand papering and cleaning the surfaces, filling up cracks and crevices if any with approved putty, scaffolding etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Painting plastered /concrete surfaces with two coats of acrylic premium (plastic) emulsion paint of M/s Asian or equivalent make & approved colour over a coat of approved cement/acrylic primer (as per manufacturers recommendation) including preparing the surfaces, filling with putty wherever required, scaffolding and cleaning etc, complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Painting plastered/ concrete surfaces with two coats of premium exterior grade acrylic emulsion paint similar to Apex ultima of M/s. Asian Paints or approved manufacturer, of approved colour and shade over a coat of approved exterior grade primer all as per manufacturer's recommendations and as per the approved sample including providing necessary scaffolding, cleaning the surface with water to remove all coating, dust, filling up cracks & crevices with approved putty, curing the surface etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note : Both sides of surfaces of jali,if any, shall be measured for payment

Providing and fixing in position at all floors, levels / heights, approved quality machine cut, mirror polished 18mm thick granite stone slab for door/ window frame in two overlapping layers in one piece full length / height of approved shade, finished sizes as directed, moulding and polishing exposed edges in line, level, plumb and fixing the stone with cement mortar 1:3 bedding/ backing closed jointed, machine grouting, cement slurry, curing including cutting of stones to get rounded exposed edges, wastage, final hand polishing, rounding of free exposed stone edges etc. complete as per specifications drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
Providing and fixing granite stone door and window frame with 18mm thick approved granite stone including providing and fixing 90mm long stainless steel screws (3 Nos. in each vertical stone) with rawl plug by drilling with high frequency power hammer drilling machine and fixing with araldite adhesive and finishing with approved putty with suitable pigment etc. complete. Note: Exposed surface on elevation & exposed vertical finished face shall be measured for payment in SqM. Overlapping & edges shall not be measured.
Providing and fixing Duraboard HD 100 filler board of M/s. Supreme Industries Ltd., 125mm thick and full depth/ width of RCC or as shown in the drawing for expansion joints at all floors and locations in RCC columns, beams, slab, brackets etc. including cutting, laying in position, in line, level and plumb, including the cost of Adhesive(Epoxy or Bitumen or equivalent) for fixing Duraboard to column,beam,slab, etc. as per manufacturer's specifications, including cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer- in-Charge.

Bakelite Hylam Limited, to the ceiling as thermal insulation at all levels and locations including applying a coat of shalicoat to the under side of the roof and CRPX compound to the underside of each board and pressed to the slab in position, fixing with suitable screws (5 Nos. screws per panel of 1200x600mm) with rawl plug and Stainless steel washers, including sealing the joints with self adhesive brown tape etc. complete all as per manufacturerer's specification, cost of all materials labours, scaffolding, tools & plants, required for completion of the work etc all complete as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Providing & fixing in position suspended false ceiling system using 600mm x 600mm Calcium Silicate tiles (Aerolite)/calcium silicate board(Hilux) having thickness as mensioned below, densified edges and 100% humidity resistance, incombustible as per BS476 part IV with thermal conductivity of 0.043 w/m KC and approved surface design and edge profile (Tegular/ Spintone) placed in a suspended grid of size of 600mm x 600mm made of hot dipped G.I. steel sections having an exposed surface capping of pre-finished baked polyester painted coil wherein the main tee of size 24mm x 38mm x 0.33mm shall be suspended at 1200mm centres along the length of ceiling with 4mm dia G.I wire with necessary level,adjusters and cross tees of size 24mm x 28mm x 0.33mm x 1200mm shall be inserted in to slots between the main tees at 600mm centres and thereafter in direction vertical to the longer tees of size 24mm x 28mm x 0.33 mm x 600mm shall be inserted to form a grid size of 600mm x 600mm resting on the periphery walls on wall angles of size 22mm x 22mm x 300mm x 0.40mm thickness etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. Note:- The entire grid system shall be designed to bear a distributed load of minimum 15 kg/sqm. Notes for false ceiling i) Surface exposed area of soffit in plan shall only be measured in Sqm for payment and no deduction shall be made for openings for grills, ducts, lighting fixtures, diffusers, cutouts etc. ii) The additional frame works etc. if any for vertical masking and trap door etc. shall be measured in this item without any extra cost. iii) The false ceiling and vertical masking alongwith stepped ceiling if any shall be measured and paid under this item. iv)The rate quoted shall include main tees to be suspended from the ceiling / soffit with the help of metal dash fasteners of Hilti of 6mm x 50mm, soffit cills of 25mm,x 35mm x 1.60mm and 4mm dia G.I wire with galvanised spring steel leveling clips. v) scaffolding required for this works shall be provided by contractor at his own cost. vi) Contractor has to co-operate and co-ordinate with the other agencies working in the area. vii) The rates quoted shall include all frame works around electrical fixtures, A/c ducts, grills / diffusers etc. and no extra payment will be made for the same. Note : 1. LAN work shall be done by a specialised agency in the field. Credentials of the agency through which the bidder proposes to execute the LAN work to be submitted post W.O. 2. Evaluation of the proposed agency to execute the LAN work shall be carried out seperately by the Department. 3. Fire Alarm Panel Design,supply,installation,testing & commissioning of Analogue addressable microprocessor controlled Fire Alarm Control Panels, capable of being IP networked to the,central monitoring System connecting through optical Fiber cable network to monitor and integrate above quantity of accessories like detectors, MCP's/loop power sounder/control modules, Fault Isolation Modules, Loop powered hooters, response indicators, fire/fault indicators, audio-visual signals, central processing units, complete with LED visual indicators, alpha-numeric display and audible alarm both for fire & fault, mains ON indication, test & reset provisions. Each loop should provided with minimum 125 detectors /devices. External FA System Cabling : Supply, installation,testing & commissioning of 2C x 2.5 sqmm shielded twisted pair Cu cable with G.I. wire/strip amoured, PVC sheathed cable fixed on wall/ column / slab on 5mm. thick GI spacer/MS flat support fixed with wood screws with 20 SWG GI saddle etc all fixing accessories or in ground (cost of excavation shall be measured under relevant civil item) and as directed by E-I-C.
External FA cable end joint: End jointing of following sizes of cable by crimping with supply of all jointing materials like solderless tinned copper cable socket,double compression brass cable glands, gland earthing, insulation tape, flux, duplicate interconnection between gland earthing strip & to the nearest earthing bus terminals as per the drawings, specifications and as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-charge.

All outdoor refrigerant pipeline shall be provided with appropriate mechanical protection for preventing damage by birds and the horizontal pipelines if any shall be laid over MS hot dip galvanised tray, complete in all respects as per technical specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-charge. NB: 1) All piping inside the room shall be properly supported with MS hanger & clamps. 2) Size (i.e. dia. & thickness) of copper pipes & thickness of tubular elastomeric nitrile rubber insulation should be as per manufacturer's recommendation.
Drain piping duly insulated Supply, installation and commissioning of rigid/ flexible HD PVC piping/ GI piping duly insulated with closed cell elastomeric nitrile rubber insulation complete with fittings, accessories, supports on wall/ ceiling or floor etc. as per site situation & all as per technical specification and as approved by Engineer In Charge. Note: 1) Size (i.e. dia. & thickness) of drain pipes & thickness of tubular elastomeric nitrile rubber insulation should be as per manufacturer's recommendation. 2) All drain piping inside the room shall be properly supported with hanger & clamps, complete in all respects technical specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-charge.
Cabling Supply & laying of 3C X 4 sqmm. cu power cabling along with required control cabling and adequate earthing as per site requirement with adequate size of cu conductor wire with saddles & spacers to connect outdoor units with respective indoor units & power cable to connect power outlet to ODU/ IDU complete with end connections as required, complete in all respects as per technical specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-charge.
PVC Trunking Supply & laying of casing and caping(PVC trunking 100 mm X 50 mm) for enclosing refrigerant tubing with insulation, drain line and electrical cable as per site situation, complete in all respects as per technical specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-charge.
M.S. Structure Fabrication of various M.S structure (namely M.S. stands for the ODUs of A/C units, expansion tank, any other item not covered in respective items wherein supports are not included shall be part of this item) as required & fabricated out of M.S. flat of size (50 mm x 6 mm) and M.S. angle of size (50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm) and safety guard of M.S. flat of size (12 mm x 12 mm) with opening in safety guard for maintenance purpose of Split AC's ODU unit, painting with two coats of synthetic enamel over one coat of red oxide primer of approved make & shade on all M.S. structure as required and complete in all respects as per technical specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-charge.
