CERTAIN REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT JOINERY AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT DIBT MYSORE

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work and properly clean the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes and removing the debris out side of MoD Land complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for screed plaster 15 mm thick in CM (1:4) on roof surface complete and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement etc, mixed with and including water proofing compound @2% by weight complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 40mm average thick Plain Cement Concrete in (1:2:4), type B0, using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate, as in RCC roof surface to horizontal surface etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for priming for applying bitumen @ 0.40 ltr / Sqm one coat of hot bitumen blown bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.20 Kg / sqm as binding material and provide modified polymeric five layered APP (Atactic Polypropylene modified Polymeric) membrane with 100 micron high molecular high density polyethylene film. Min wt of membrane will be 3.5 Kg/sqm and bonded completely to the surfaces with min end overlap of 15cms and side lap 75mm (overlaps to be bounded with thermo fused by flame) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for apply two coats of bituminous based aluminium paint on roof complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound .

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutter (without taking off shutter from the frame) area n. exc 1.50 sqm in each complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking Shutter of any description area n. exc 2.0 Sqm in each complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs rolled mild steel as in framed work such as grills, gratings, etc. with ends of bars shouldered and / or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; etc including dismantling of old sections complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
