Reconditioning & strengthening of E.O.T. crane of 15 ton capacity installed at L.I.S. Ranjan by way of Dismantling, disconnecting, all power supply cable connections of crane, repairs, replacements of all eroded damaged HRC fuses of the main electric control unit of 440 volt supply, replacement of over- heated and damaged complete –Kit of L&T make air break power contactor of capacity-- , all damaged thimbles and leads, also replacement of 3-core 4mm2 cable about 100 meters in travelling and connecting lead for motor of the crane in place of damaged/ burnt cable along with TP 63Amp. Providing and laying in position of provision for trailing of main connection cables during cross transverse and longitudinal transverse of the trolley by way of providing / fabrication / fixing in position of new cable trailing rope way holders made out of ISMC 75 of suitable length at two extreme ends of each nature of travel of trolley as per requirement of actual span .Providing & laying of new cable trailing rope way out of steel wire rope 6mm nominal size (45meters approx.) stretched /clamed at extreme ends for trailing of cables without over sacking/ entangling .Providing and fitting in position of cable hangers at specified regular spacing of 1.5 mtrs for respective span. Dismantling of the damaged six pole 10 HP LT induction Motor of hoist at workshop for extraction of burnt/ damaged windings, cleaning of stator slots and complete rewinding of the motor with new copper coils of requisite gauge and specifications, standard make. Providing / fitting of new insulation, packing material, then varnishing with superior quality varnish & drying in oven in controlled temperature. Repairs to rotor of motor by P/F of new bearings ( DE & NDE ) after rebuilding of the rotor shaft and finishing to bearing sizes, making new keyway for coupling , P/F of new cooling fan and side strainers. Reconditioning of the Gear box by way of dismantling , checking, cleaning of the gear box housing/parts with Kerosene Oil, repairing/ reconditioning the main and counter shaft at worn out portions and gears, machining, turning, polishing the shaft and gear teeths to the required/ specified parameters. Replacement of 2 nos. of worn out Helical gears as per the actual parameters and repairs / reconditioning of all other Helical gears for all required specifications, assembling of gear box and filling of Gear Oil to the required level with providing/fitting of nuts & bolts in place of damaged/eroded ones. Overhauling of LT & CT drives of Crane by way of dismantling of coupling pulleys of transverse and longitudinal driving shafts of the moving tracks, cleaning, greasing, oiling, aligning and leveling the each driving shafts with providing/fitting of base frame packings for aligning, leveling it in proper accuracy. Replacement of all coupling bolts, nuts, flanges & pulleys which ever found damaged. Also dressing of steel wire rope drum, checking, cleaning, application of protective compound all along the length of steel wire rope the rope, fixing the rope on drum wtth new fixtures / clamps. Reconditioning of the both EOT Crane rails by way of cleaning the entire rails on both sides with wire brush, sand paper etc. Alignment of existing rails by way of grinding welding the down rails with the welding electrodes conforming to IS specifications and providing/ fixing in position in position of packing pads of mild steel where ever required to align/ level the rail track. The job also includes scrubbing and grinding the welded joints to make the surface smooth and even for trouble-free operation of the crane. Testing of the crane operation for jerk free operation on load and no-load conditions. Restoration of the lifting load braking system of the crane by dismantling, checking, adjusting , replacement of worn out moving parts including damaged brake leather and connected nuts & bolts, tension springs which ever found defective and setting right the brake system of the crane.
