NOTES :The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document & all corrigendum/ amendments and General conditions of contracts before entry/quoting the rates.

M & L for isolating the HT/LT supply and earthing system complete, opening and taking down top cover of the transformer of any capacity installed on 2 pole / 4 pole structure or indoor / outdoor sub stn. Drain out the transformer oil up to the required level and keeping in safe custody (for reuse), for repair/replacement of part, checking the lead connection from winding to bus rods including necessary soldering / jointing etc Refilling transformer oil, refixing the top cover, taping and commissioning of the transformer after the repair complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Container for keeping the transformer oil safe for reuse will be arranged by contractor. (b) HT/LT bushing lead & copper terminal rod shall be measured and paid for separately as supply only under respective item of sch ‘A’.

Supply only, HV bushing (11000 voltage graded) with copper terminal stud, both end threaded complete with double nuts & washers including distance piece both sides and heat resistance gasket suitable for outdoor / indoor type transformer of capacity upto 200 KVA.

Disconnecting, taking down distribution transformer indoor/outdoor type 6/11 KV /415 volts having capacity upto and including 300 kVA, transportation to the workshop for repairs including opening of transformers cover, draining of oil, de-tanking of core and coil assembly, cleaning, washing of dust and dirt from all parts including core, tank and cooling tubes radiators etc., joint inspection for estimate, replacement of defective parts, assembly, stage inspection, re-tanking, oil filtration/ dehydration, fill dehydrated oil and fresh oil and testing the repaired transformers for all the routine tests complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - (a) Transformer oil shall be drained out by the contractor in suitable capacity mild steel drums to be arranged by the contractor. The said drained out transformer oil shall be refilled in the transformer duly dehydrated after repair and the cost thereof shall be included in unit rate quoted against the respective item of this schedule. (b) Rewinding of both HT & LT coil shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this schedule. (c) Transportation charges for transportation of transformer from site to workshop and after repair, workshop to site shall be borne by the contractor and cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (d) The spare parts excluding nuts, bolts, washer, gasket, etc, shall be measured and paid for separately. (e) The said transformer shall be repaired in reputed workshop as decided by the GE. (f) Testing of transformer after repair shall be carried out as per IS and the cost of testing shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted against this item. (g) The IR value of the dried winding before inserting the core in the shell shall be measured and recorded.

M & L for spray painting of distribution transformers any type of capacity upto and including 200 kVA indoor / outdoor type, in workshop or installed at different sites in scattered area under the GE complete all as specified and as directed. Including the following: - (a) Removal of grease, oil and other contaminants using de-greasing solvent. (b) De-rusting of surface and cleaning manually by scrubbing and wire brushing. (c) Washing thoroughly and dry properly. (d) Applying two coats of zinc phosphate primer by spray machine (e) Final painting of two coats with synthetic enamel paint by spray machine over priming coat. M&L loose filling with stone aggregates of 40mm size in substations, around 4 pole/6 pole structures all as specified and directed. (The contractor has to stack the gravel/stones near the substation as per directed for necessary measurement and instructions ).

M&L for Repair and Servicing of Compact sub-station comprises of HT Pannel, (VCB, LBS) 6KV/11 KV Grade, 630 Amps, Dry/Oil type transformer 250 KVA to 400 KVA , APFC Panel and LT compartment etc. by Auth representative including the following:- (a) Switiching off Ht pannel and conforming that supply to incomming end is other/properly disconnected. (b) Opening covers of the HT Pannel and visual checking of epoxy housing and all parts for rust and wear & tear. (c) Cleaning all parts of CSS with appropriate chemical to remove dust and dirt and wipping of the envelop of the vacuum interrupeter and insulating material with a clean and dry cloths.
