Attending complaints by deploying sufficient labour (Plumber (skilled) & helper (unskilled) for repair to leakage/blockage of underground water carrying pipes, size 25 to 150 mm bore of any description such as AC/GI/CI/DI, at any location including necessary excavation & earth work, cutting existing pipe lines, dewatering etc complete all as specified. Note:- (i) Complaint shall be notified to contractor on telephone, therefore it is mandatory for the contractor to mention his ‘Mobile Number’ while quoting the tender. (ii) Complaint shall be notified to contractor at any time between 0600 hrs to 2000 hrs and the same shall be immediately attended and defects rectified within six hrs from notification of complaint to the contractor. (iii) Confirmation of attendance & rectification of complaint shall be given in writing by the contractor and same shall be recorded in the ‘Register’ maintained for the purpose. The ‘Register’ shall be produced to this office along with RAR/Final Bill. (iv) In case the contractor fails to attend complaints within stipulated time (i.e. 6 hrs), a penalty shall be imposed @ Rs 300/- per complaint. (iv) Rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed included the cost of necessary T& P required. (v) Pipes and cost of jointing shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Material and labour for maintaining of potable /Fresh water to achieve chlorine level by keeping concentrated efforts as per standard water quality specifications of maintaining PPM,PH,TDS levels by checking time to time with standard testing equiptments/lab test items if any daily before pumping of water to users from OHTs to building OH tanks through raising mains etc by adding chlorination granaulas chlorine gas etc.as required for disinfection of water as per standard at site as under :- (a) PPM at OHT to building OH tank -2 PPM. (b) PH value-6.5 to 8.5,TDS-300 ppm. (c) Ensurig water is to be free from E.coli and thermotoerant coliform bacteria and it shall not be detectable in any 100 ml of sample water. Notes :- The item rate is inclusive of the following :- (a) The contractor or his rep is responsible for maintaining quality of drinking water as specified above and to adopt latest standard of water treatment for providing specified potable water. (b) Contractor or his rep has to attend daily at all pump hoses once in a day to check all the water parameters and sign in the register being maintained with pump house staff. (c) Register should be maintained daily and daily record of the same should be endorsed from users/MES rep at pump house,concerned Engineer-in-charge/JE E&M as well as concerned medical team of respective unit daily. (d) Lab test shall be carried out once in a month from locally available Govt approved lab for:- (i) PPM. (ii) TDS. (iii) PH value and E-Coil or thermotolerent Coliform bacteria.test report be rendered and a record of the same to be submitted to department once in a month or whenever required or directed by the users and department depend upon the situation quality of water.

(e) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of adding required chemicals like soda ash etc.to maintain pH value and TDS as and when required. (f) Required quantity of chlorine gas/chlorine granuals/bleaching powder required to be used at pump houses regularly and superchlorination to be done and the same shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items of schedule.The amout/quantity of mixing chemicals, gas etc. would be very as per the quality of receiving water from time to time to bring the required ppm once checked before pumping the water from sump to OHT of user building.The necessary mixing up of granular/bleaching powder and for maintaning standard water and for super chlorination the existing staff/manpower at pump houses shall be utilized if necessary. The above specified job shall be carried out at each pump house as under :- (a) ME Line. (b) Married acommodation. (c) Pump House NO 2 ABOD. (d) Main Gate Pump House ABOD. (e) Parameter Pump House. (f) Barrier Gate Pump House.

Material and labour for cleaning of RCC equilisation tank of approx size 5.5m x8.0m x5.5 m of STP by bailing out the accumulated raw water at the bottom and removing to complete slit/sludge dirt from the tank and dispositing away exc.1.5 KM and n.exc 5.0 KM from site as directed scrapping tha tank inner walls and bottom with wire brush and cleaning the tank inner walls and bottom by applying anti-bacterial spray completely including applying one coat of white wash to entire tank externally complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (a) The rate deemed to be inclusive of T&P and transportation required for disposal of sludge/dirt away from the site. (b) The cleaning of tank shall be performed once in two months as per manufactures recommendations.
