REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF HT PANELS/ VCBS, HT CABLES, TRANSFORMERS, RMUS/ EARTHINGS AND CONNECTING WORKS AT HQTC BANGALORE

Excavation in trenches not. exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5 deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm in soft/loose soil.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point.

Material and labour for sand cushioning for under ground cable with locally available dry sand for protection of cable including spreading and consolidations, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV ,Type 1, flat , size 300x180x40 mm.

Material & Labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of poles.

Material & Labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in copping/collar of poles and foundation of stay assembly etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in coping of poles.

Disconnecting both ends of the faulty HT cables of any size and any type and isolating from Transformer, RMU,VCB, HT Panel, bringing the HT fault finding machine to site to pinpoint the location of occurance of fault , connecting one end of the HT cable to the machine , energising the cable giving high voltage through the machine to locating the fault , after locating the fault , de-engergise the cable using earth rod ,remove the ends of cable from the machine, Excavating the cable at the fault location & pinpoint the fault, repairing the cable using cable jointing kits and by adding extra HT cable if required at site, jointing the cables as before to the panel and testing complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Fault finding machine, T&P , labour,necessary excavation and earth work, and any other items reuired at site , are included in the quoted rates. (ii) HT joints / HT cable(if reqd) will be measured & paid under respective item of schedule. (iii) The contractor shall bring the Fault finding machine at site with in 02 hours of instruction received from Engineer-in-Charge and he shall ensure that the fault is rectified with in 24 hours of receipt of intimation from Engineer-in-charge failing which recovery of Rs 600 per hour shall be recovered from the contractor dues w.e.f the time immediately after the expiry of 24 hours duration. (iv) For the purpose of payment one unit of éach job'shall comprise of detection of faults in a particular stretch of cable which are identificed in that particular stretch, irrespective of number of defects/faults in that particular stretch which are detected during fault detected in that particular stretch shall be considered as one unit.

Taking out unserviceable HT cable any type/size from trenches,pole, road,duct etc including necessary joints,U/S fittings and pipes etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches /laid in floor/duct/drawn through conduit HT XLPE insulated,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, heavy duty electric power cables with aluminum conductor 11000 volts grade of cross sectional area 95 sqmm 3 core including connect to Transformer, RMU,VCB, HT Panel with suitable size lugs and testing complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and laying synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2.5 mm thick for voltage up to 11 KV for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006 suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2mx1m complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply rubber hand gloves latex type seamless 400mm long , ISI marked all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Collecting the oil samples of transformers / voltage stabilizers installed at HQTC areas after filteration and dehydration and carrying out testing the oil from NABL accredited Laboratory and as per IS 335:1993 detail analysis of physical,chemical & electrical parameters including dissolved gas analysis, Furan Analysis , etc and full report is submitted on printed form for each transformer oil samples tested complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for filling insulating oil (transformer oil) confirming to IS-1866:2000 having dielectric strength not less than 60 KV for topping up in 11/0.433 KV transformer all as specifie and directed (Filling shall be done by on line filtration plant only)

M & L for filteration and dehydration of transformer oil on line by using streamline filteration plant at site and die electric strength to be brought to not less than 60 KV at 2.5mm gap for 1 minute and testing the oil sample after dehydration. Note: - (i) Test result before and after filteration to be recorded as per the sample provided by Engr-in-charge. (ii) The rate quoted deemed to be included for taking necessary connection and the connection to filteration plant from transformers and switchgear oil duly removing the inlet and outlet connections. (iii) For topping up transformer oil will be measured and paid separately under relevent items. (iv) The rate quoted deemed to inclusive of testing charges.

M & L for Preventive maintenance /repairs to the transformers step down 11 KV /0.433 KV out door type of any make and capacity 100 to 250 KVA (06 Nos) installed at HQTC area including cleaning the Transformers externally throughly with lint free cloth, checking and tightening the HT/LT terminals nuts bolts ,checking and tightening the earth terminals, checking the oil level, arresting the leakages if any,replacing the rusted bolts, nuts, washers , checking the condition of insulator, drain valve, perished gaskets of top cover, silica gel, temprature oil guage ,copper alloy studs ,nuts complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- All the preventive maintenance /repairs as mentioned above capacity transformer step down 11 KV /0.433 KV out door type installed at HQTC area must be carried out once in a month.

Supply and replace of set of gasket such as top cover, conservator,bucholz relay, breather etc for transformer capacity 100 to 250 KVA includinng opening the top cover and refilling the same oil , refixing the top cover after completion and testing any leakage and all as per site requirement complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge including taking down old gasket. Note:- (i) dielectric strength test of oil will be carried out after completion of work and price of same is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

M&L for shifting of transformer from platform to vehicle with the help of crane and loading to vehicle. The transformer to be shifted to workshop , draining the transformer oil , opening the top cover , lifting the core above the top level with the help of T&P , cleaning the inside of the tank ,removing the sludge completly , inspecting the cores , varnishing the windings with one coat of varnish , drying complete , assembling the core and top cover , replaceing the top cover gasket , wahser & seal ring of terminals , filling of oil .carrying out filteration & de-hydration complete, meggering the windings , testing the transformer on load and checking for any leaks, after satisfactory results shifting the transformer to orginal site , connecting the HT/LT cables and testing on load of capacity upto 630 KVA all as speciifed and as directed. Note : (i) The quoted rates are inclusive of lifting ,loading ,transportation, gaskets, seal rings, nuts, bolts,connecting the HT/LT cables and testing on load etc. (ii) Only Filteration , new oil , HT/LT terminals as required will be measured and paid seperatly under respective item of schedule. All other items are inclusive in quoted rates.

Disconnecting the incoming / outgoing cables (HT/LT) , all earthing strips connected with the transformer of capacity upto 630 KVA , isolating the transformer completely , bringing the trolley mounted transformer from main power house to the site with the help of suitable vehicle and connecting the HT and LT cables including all earthing, testing the transformer on load, checking the phase sequency , changing the phases if any difference and testing complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : All T&P,Vehicle, Botls /Nuts ,material , labour , connection , testing etc required for above job are included in the quoted rates.

Material and labour for painting to the Transformer yard fencing made out of GI wire mesh with two coats of existing synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for painting the transformer indoor/outdoor of capacity up to 630 KVA scraping the peeled out paint of the transformer ,preparing the surface ,applying metal paste on the voids to make the surface even, spray painting with two coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour incl writting SM/MES no,capacity of transformer with red colour synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cutting removing the vegetation growth and surface dressing all around the installation yard including two pole structure areas, around power house, substation (external only) to always keep installation clean and tidy complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement Ashida Numerical self powered protection relay Model ADR 141S or equivalent for 11 KV HT panel including taking out old unserviceable relay complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fixing in repair LED indicator lamp suitable for RMU as per existing make complete all as speciifed and as directed.

Supplying and laying in repair remote control system out door VCB all as specified and as directed.
