Strengthening of suction pipeline by providing and fitting of new suction pipeline for pumping unit no 1 installed at Lift irrigation station Dhumala. Providing, fitting of 250 mm MS pipe of 30 ft length between suction side of pump and suction sump. Carriage of MS pipes to lift irrigation station using carriage vehicle and then unloading and shifting of pipes to lift station across the fencing on international border on head load. The suction pipe is to be fitted and divided as per alignment of suction lines at site. Providing, fitting and welding of 250 mm diameter MS flanges. Total number of 250 mm diameter plate flanges required for the complete job is 8 no’s. Fabrication of MS bends out of 250 mm dia pipe with angle as per site alignment. The welding on all flanges should be double layered and leak proof. Providing and fitting of hexagonal nuts, bolts and rubber gaskets required for the job. The job includes laying and realigning of MS Pipeline from suction side of pumping units to sump tank of the lift irrigation station. Fabrication of concrete anchor blocks over the pipeline to hold the suction pipes and stop vibrations. The size of the two number blocks should be of 6 ft x 2 ft x 2ft size to hold both suction pipelines. Providing and fitting of new 250 mm diameter cast iron, flanged foot valve with pressure rating of PN 0.2, the door face should consists of rubber with reinforcement of cotton canvas, flange drilling as per IS:1538 after replacing existing damaged foot valve by cutting rusted nuts, bolts with gas cutting at intake source. Job includes providing of new nuts, bolts and rubber gasket. Painting of both suction pipeline by rubbing the surface with sand paper to make the painting area smooth and then painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of high quality (Asian/ Nerolac/ Berger paint). Providing and fitting of 250 mm diameter flanged sluice valve with cast iron body, dome, wedge and steel spindle, rubber gaskets for pumping unit after replacing damaged sluice valve on delivery side of pumping unit. Complete job includes cost of material, welding charges, skilled/ semi skilled labour, transportation charges, carriage charges of material on head load from road side to lift station on head load. Note:- The Tenderers are requested to visit the site and quote the rate as per site conditions. Any modifications/ alterations of the job, felt necessary if required at the time of actual execution may be /done as per actual site conditions. The firm should offer rebate on old material.
