M & L for preparation of new steel surfaces over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and stripping of Existing Roof treatment for damaged concrete of covering plaster by light chiseling until sound surfaces come up. That might affect adhesion are to be removed by wire brushing. The entire exposed surface shall be washed thoroughly with plenty of Clean water and then allowed to dry. Smooth concrete surfaces if any to be Roughened mechanically. (i) Supply and Apply, covering screed plaster (Cement / sand / aggregate 6mm down) average thickness of 50mm admixed with Plastcone AW+- integral waterproofing compound 150ml per 50 kg bag of cement & adding adhesives styrene butadiene emulsion with cement slurry to a uniform slope for easy drainage of water. (ii) Sealing all surface shrinkage cracks on roof and pours shall be sealed with cementitious mortar mixed with A modified styrene butadiene emulsion (iii) Supply and applying two coats of POLYCOTE BB is a two Component acrylic polymer modified elastomeric Waterproofing membrane with high Elongation ( >150% ) on top of screed by brush without Water dilution. (iv) Supply and Apply single coat of single component, quick drying , low viscosity blend of Bitumen in solvent dries to form a high quality tough Bitumen film on top of screed to provide a continuous barrier to the passage of water and water vapor. ( BS 3416:1975 Type 1A). ( Dr. FIXIT / Fosroc / SIKA / REDWOP Chemicals ) Note :- Work shall be executed by Authorized Applicator of above manufacturer.

Dismantling and stripping the damaged concrete of entire Parapet wall , Fascia etc by light chiseling & other manual methods until sound concrete surfaces comes up. Any trace of loose plaster, oil, grease, and funguses if any or other materials that might affect adhesion are to be removed by wire brushing. The entire exposed surface shall then be washed thoroughly with Clean water and then allowed to dry. (i) Exposing the corroded reinforcement completely along its full circumference, cleaned to remove all loose scale and corrosion deposit applying rust removing chemical followed by removing the rust by sand paper and cleaning the area thoroughly by water and allow it to dry. (ii) Supply and Application of Epoxy Zinc Rich primer on the Prepared Reinforced surface after electro welding of it’s sectional area by brush , the primer should have a minimum specific gravity 1.75. Minimum Wet film thickness /coat 100 microns & Dry film thickness / coat 40 microns. Minimum Adhesive bond strength with steel is 1.5 N/mm2 (iii) M & L formwork of smooth finish surfaces of Fascia, Parapet Wall incl. fixing and striking out after pouring of concrete at all levels with necessary Bamboo staging. (iv) A modified Styrene Butadiene Emulsion for use as a bonding aid and gauging liquid for cementitious system to be mixed with cement slurry before the application of two component micro concrete to be used @ 5 Ltr./bag of cement. The bonding agent should have minimum compressive strength 24 N/mm2 . .(Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / SIKA / REDWOP ) Mortar can be applied in thicknesses from 15mm to 40mm thickness in vertical and 25mm in overhead situations. The Mortar should have a minimum Compressive strength 7 N/mm2 in 1 Day and 20 N/mm2 in 28days. Minimum Flexural strength should be 4.5 N/mm2 in 28 days. Minimum Tensile strength should be 1.7 N/mm2 in 28days. (vi) Supply and Apply, covering plaster 10 mm thick with mixing ratio 1- 4 Cement / Sand, adding adhesives butadiene styrene emulsion, for smooth finishing on Fascia / Parapet Wall after Application of two component high build polymer modified cementitious reinstatement mortar. (vii) M&L APPLYING curing compound over cement plaster as curing, complete as per manufacturer’s instruction and as directed by EIC. ( Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / SIKA / REDWOP). Note :- Work shall be executed by Authorized Applicator of above manufacturer.

M & L Mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster any description and the like on brick or stone walls, etc including raking out joints,hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 5 mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 on ceiling finished even and smooth on wall complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:6 on brick or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth on wall complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on brick or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth with integral water proofing compound (IWPC Measured and paid seperately) on wall complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered / unplastered surfaces of ceiling surfaces and applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered / unplastered surfaces of walls and two coats distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturer's specification complete all as specified and as directed.

Treatment of sunken floor slab comprises the following specificatons and all as specified :- (i) Demolition of existing treatment including tiling, concrete etc. (ii) M & L for cleaning the sunken/ lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush,chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40 mm thick avg PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate as in padding concrete to achieve proper slope including 50 mm PVC pipe and cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for spour. (iii) Rendering of uneven surface with 6mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with liquid water proofing compound @0.4 % by wt of cement consumed. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage, where dampness /seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out. (iv) All junction points of side wall where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty. (v) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean. (vi) M & L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturer's instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100 mm ht. The thickness of two layer shall be 1 mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface portion all as specified and directed. (vii) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with liquid water proofing compound @ 0.4% by wt of cement consumed as per manufacturer's speciication incl rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. Note: Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hrs and tested for leakage, seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicators of chemicals.(Cost of testing charges shall deemed to be included in the rates quoted by bidders) (viii) All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all round after painting with anti-corrosive paint( Black Japan). (ix) Two Nos of 50mm bore GI medium grade 600mm long spout shall be provided through external wall to drain out accumulated water.

M & L for joint free Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7-8 mm thick area of each tile exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.38 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles in 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.
