Replacement of damage components of one no. 900 mm Reflux valve along with allied works and minor modifications as per side conditions / reconditioning to existing Reflux valve (unit number 2) installed at Tawi Pump House, Jammu

Repairs to 900 mm dia. reflux valve installed at Rising main no.2 at Tawi Pump House Jammu by way of cutting MS rising main from one side, cutting rusted Nuts and Bolts of dismantling joint /distance piece, dismantling and reconstruction conc. pedestal block of reflux valve, it includes cost of material centering shuttering etc.. and holding 900 mm dia. Reflux valve with the help of Hydra crane using sling and lifting, moving it to the workshop by loading into the mechanical transport and shifting to the workshop and unloading it with the help of hydra crane and placing it at suitable place for repair. Dismantling reflux valve and Extracting damaged components Viz flaps, flap pins, bushes, bypass arrangement such as valve and pipe, nuts and bolts from the reflux valve. Cleaning the valve from inside as well as outside and making inside surface smooth with emery paper by removing rust, clay. Job involves cutting broken hinge from diaphragm, rebuilding /fabrication, providing and fitting of new hinge bracket to diaphragm -01 No. and repair/strengthening other hinge for holding flap. Fabrication, Providing and fitting of 01 No. new flap (bottom flap) as per sample provided and fitted with GM door ring also replacing damaged seat ring of same door. Fabrication /providing and fitting GM bushes in hinges of the flap and body for fitting flap including fabrication /providing and fitting new pins as per sample. Job also includes repairs to middle and top flaps of the reflux valve by way of replacing damaged GM bushes -04 Nos. and SS pins-02 Nos. of each flap and body by fabrication/providing and fitting of new one as per sample including allied items such as HT nuts and bolts suitable for pressure rating PN 1.6 as per sample. The job includes fitting of face rings by properly riveting with their respective components using rivets of suitable required material so that rings firmly secure with door and withstand required working pressure. The size and material of parts should be as per original. Inlet and outlet shell of the body shall be fitted by providing high quality gasket, gland packing, adhesive and HT bolts and nuts. New parts fitted should be of high quality and grade to withstand maximum working pressure. Complete job includes cost of material and labour charges. Loading of newly repaired reflux valve in the mechanical transport and shifting back to workshop, unloading at site with the help of crane. Lowering and placing, holding of reflux valve on the pedestal block with the help of Hydra crane for positioning, levelling, aligning and fitting with the existing rising main by HT bolts and nuts and washers. It includes providing and fitting of New HT bolts nuts along with Nuts washer-30 Nos., rubber insertion sheet between two mating flanges by applying suitable adhesive. Fitting of 900 mm dia. MS distance piece between sluice valve and reflux valve by way of welding of already cut portion of distance piece and by providing and fitting of New MS plate of suitable size and thickness for overlapping the joint so that leak proof joint is formed. Complete job includes hire charges of crane, manual labour and material required and charges of all tools and tackles required for execution of job.
