Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavation earth lead upto 50 m and for all lift , as directed by Engineer-in-charge. All kinds of soil. Rate as per DAR 2.6.1

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:4:8 (1cement, 4 coarse sand (zone-III), 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm Nominal Size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering- All work upto plinth level as per PWD (SCH.)- 273 Ref. to DAR 4.1.8

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. In Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (including equivalent design mix) as per DSR 15.2.1

Brick work with common burnt clay (non modular) bricks of class 150 in foundation and plinth in Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) as per DAR 6.1.1.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well-graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification clause 401.

Providing Laying spreading and compaction stone aggregates of 53-22.4 mm size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming stone screening binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification clause 405.

Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, using curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1501

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering in 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand (zone- III): 3 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size). All work upto plinth level Ref. to DAR 4.1.2

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement. 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand (zone- III): 3 graded stone aggregate 20mm- All work up to plinth level. Ref. To DAR 5.1.2

12mm Thick plaster with cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) as per DAR 13.4.1

Mild steel or iron in plain work such as reinforced concrete or reinforced brick work (when not included in an overall rates) wrought to required shape as necessary including bending for proper completion of work and including supply of all steel and wastages and overlapping and hookes as per Chap-10, SCH. P.W.D./D.S.R. 504
