PART-I: MAINTENANCE & OPERATION OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION AND WATER SUPPLY

Day to day maintenance and operation of LT electric supply system, DG sets, Pump house and water supply installations in three shifts of 08 hours each for all working days including Sundays & Holidays at CDA Chennai by employing one elecrtician in each shift (Total 03 electricians per day) and one pump operator in each shift (Total 02 pump operators per day) as mentioned below for entire system comprising of attending LT electrical faults/ complaints and oump house complaints including maintenance of necessary records and documents etc. complete all as specified and directed. (a) Man Power to be employed: (i) Electrician-03 Nos (01 Electrician per shift for three shifts) (ii) Pump Operator - 02 Nos. (01 Operator per shift for First and Second shift). (b) Shift timings for electricians shall be as under:- 1st shift : 0600 hrs to 14.00 hrs 2nd Shift : 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs 3rd Shift : 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs (c) Shift timings for pump operators shall be as under:- 1st shift : 0600 hrs to 14.00 hrs 2nd Shift : 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs.

Notes applicable to BOQ Srl item No 1:- (a) The person employed shall be responsible for attending all types of electrical complaints. (b) The person employed shall also be responsible repairs to LT cables including binding and jointing to restore electric supply, repair/ replacement of service wire and any other minor work for restoring the electrical supply as directed. (c) General cleanliness and upkeeping existing plants and vegetation within the premises of the plant by deploying additional manpower with T&P if required at any time and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (d) Contractor shall make payment through AADHAAR linked bank account of employees and photocopy of receipt of payment shall be attached with RAR/ final bill. (e) Duty roster will be submitted by the contractor before commencement of the month for obtaining the approval of JE and Engineer-in-charge. Any change the duty roster will be made by the contractor, only after approval of Engineer-in-charge. (f) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of trimming of tree branches up to 2.00m from outer conductor of OH Lines and surrounding E/M installations.

Notes applicable to BOQ Srl item No 1:- (g) Contractor shall monitor the duties of all Electricians and submit report to concerned Engr-in-Charge/ JE E/M regarding availability of manpower and also monitor for watch and guard of installation. Any loss of damage to the plant equipment installed and Govt. property in the E/M installation premises shall be made good by the contractor. Rates quoted by the contractor are deemed to include for this clause. (h) Contractor should arrange proper uniform with name plate displayed in shirt for the mechanics and its cost shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate. The uniform shall be in blue colour pant & shirt. The pattern of the uniform shall be as decided by the Engr-in-Charge. (j) Contractor shall be responsible to monitor the duties of electricians during change of shift and submit the report to Engineer-in-Cjharge/ JE E/M and quoted rtes shall be deemed to include for the same. (k) The rates quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of the documents such as Log books of the plants, Plant Running Record Book and Plant Maintenance record Book. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of tools required for running and maintenance of plants. (l) Contractor to check Particular Specifications also for further details. (m) For the purpose of pament of minimum fair wages, Electrician and pump operator shall be considered as 'SKILLED WORKER'.

Notes applicable to BOQ Srl item No 1 (Contd...):- (n) The rate quoted against this item shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Govt of India/ State Govt./ Local body whichever is higher including all statutory provisions such as EPF, ESIC, bonus, Taxes etc. and rate of GST as applicable on the last due date of bid submission. (o) IThe lowest tender shall be determined by the lowest amount amongst valid/ bonafide bids only. (p) Bid with 'NIL' or 'Zero' quoting against OH & Profit shall render the bid as 'Non-bonafide' (q) Contractor is required to quote upto two digit after decimal place or otherwise it will be considered by rounding off to two digits after decimal place. (r) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of complaint slips, registers, cost of T&P for maintenance work and minor consumables such as PVC insulation tape, screws, fuse wire, clips, wooden round blocks etc., for day to day maintenance. (s) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of providing mobile communicating system in the complaint cell so that the complaint can be lodged and feed back can be obtained. (t) Stores (i.e.) fittings/ fixtures, cables, MCB, MCCB, and misc electrical items etc., will be measured and paid separately for replacing unserviceable fittings/ fixtures, cables etc., where required.

PAR-II: REPAIRS TO EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION AND WATER SUPPLY

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and n. exc. 1.5 meter in depth for foundation for erection of poles, stays, laying pipes, cables, stays etc., and getting out in soft/ loose soil all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/ loose soil all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lay/ spread in trenches clean dry sand to required width and depth at bottom and top of cable including spreading, levelling, punning for laying/ cushioning of cable all as specified and as directed. Note: Punned thickness only will be considered or payment.

Supply and lay burnt bricks, old size, sub class 'B', laid flat adjacent to each other, perpendicular to cable with width equal to length in trenches for protection of cable all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay GI tube light grade 40mm bore with all fittings laid in trenches/ floor for cable protection and for drawing earth strip/ earth lead wire etc., complete including taking down old pipe complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Excavation and earth work required shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F gun metal gate/ globe valve of size 15mm bore confirming to IS 778-1984 with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for GI pipe complete including taking down the existing unserviceable gate valve complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 8.00 above but 25mm bore.

Supply and lay galvanised steel water tubing 40mm bore medium grade with all fittings such as bends, tees, unions, elbows, connecting pieces, plugs, sockets etc., laid in trenches including taking out old unserviceable pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay galvanised steel water tubing 25mm bore medium grade with all fittings such as bends, tees, unions, elbows, connecting pieces, plugs, sockets etc., laid in trenches including taking out old unserviceable pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay galvanised steel water tubing 20mm bore medium grade with all fittings such as bends, tees, unions, elbows, connecting pieces, plugs, sockets etc., laid in trenches including taking out old unserviceable pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay galvanised steel water tubing 15mm bore medium grade with all fittings such as bends, tees, unions, elbows, connecting pieces, plugs, sockets etc., laid in trenches including taking out old unserviceable pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs 20mm bore PTMT ball valve with epoxy coated aluminium rod weight not less than 210gms, high pressure with polyethylene high density float and screwed for iron pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling inlet and outlet pipe, disconnecting electrical connection, taking out complete electric driven Centrifugal/ mono block pump set of capacity upto 7.5 HP, 3 phase, 415 volts, 50Hz with suction and delivery lines of any size, shifting to civil workshop for carrying out repair/ overhauling including replacement of worn-out spares, bringing back after repair, refixing, testing, commissioning etc., complete all as directed. Make: Kirloskar/ Crompton/ Jyoti/ Suguna. Note: Supply only of spares alone shall be measured and paid separately.

Dismantling of electric motor of capacity upto 7.5 HP, cutting and taking out burnt/ unserviceable winding coils, cleaning of slots and rewinding with correct size/ gauge super enamelled insulated copper wire including providing proper insulation, varnishing, drying, re-assembling etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only following spares for electric driven pump set of capacity up to 7.5HP capacity:-

Ball bearings (drive end/ non drive end).

Terminal Box.

Terminal connector 3 phase

Electro dynamically balanced bronze impeller.

Gun metal bush

Gland cup with bolts and nuts.

Flange drilled of suitable size with bolts and nuts including rubber gasket.

Rotor.

Cleaning of underground water storage sump of capacity 50,000 litres having one compartment by specialized water tank clean process as under:- (a) Dewatering using submersible pump/ bailing out of water to dispose the minimum level of dirty water from the tank. (b) Cleaning the tank/ UG sump bottom, walls and ceiling using high pressure water jet to dislodge the algae calcinations, dirt etc. (c) Disposing the dirt water sludge etc. using specially designed sludge removal pump. (d) Cleaning the tank inside thoroughly by using industrial grade vacuum pump to make the tank inside free from dirt, algae and sludge etc. (e) Treating the inside walls, bottom, ceiling of tank including all nooks and corners by using and spraying anti bacterial agent such as Hydrogen peroxide (bio degradable) for disinfection of tank inside. (f) Total disinfection and sterilisation of tank hygienically cleaned and bacteria free, Eco-Friendly and safe for storage of water

Supply and lay in trenches/ drawn through pipes or in road crossings/ paths/ drains/ ducts/ floors/ along poles etc. of LT cable underground, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised strip or wire armoured, heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade of cross sectional area 70 Sqmm 3½ core including connecting up using suitable size aluminium lugs testing and commissioning including taking out the existing LT UG electric cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay in trenches/ drawn through pipes or in road crossings/ paths/ drains/ ducts/ floors/ along poles etc. of LT cable underground, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised strip or wire armoured, heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade of cross sectional area 10 Sqmm 2 core including connecting up using suitable size aluminium lugs testing and commissioning including taking out the existing LT UG electric cable complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No. 21 & 22: Excavation earth work, sand cushioning and brick protection shall be measured and paid separately.

Detection of leakage in water main by carrying out necessary excavation in any type of soil, in any situation including bailing out leakage water by suitable measures, repair to GI pipe of size upto 50mm dia by cutting threading, for addition & alternation and for insertion of fittings etc. all as required at site complete as directed.

Supply and jointing straight through joint complete with M-Seal joint for PVC/ XLPE LT UG cable of size 70sqmm 3½ core all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fix, connecting and testing MCCB four pole, adjustable TM range, 200 Amps, 415 volts of breaking capacity 36kA F3 frame including taking down the existing MCCB complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fix, connecting and testing MCCB four pole, adjustable TM range, 160 Amps, 415 volts of breaking capacity 36kA including taking down the existing MCCB complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fix, connecting and testing MCCB four pole, adjustable TM range, 100 Amps, 415 volts of breaking capacity 36kA including taking down the existing MCCB complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix wall mounted LED batten 22 watts in extruded aluminium housing provided for efficient heat dissipation with polycarbonate diffuser and integrated electronic driver including 22 watts LED tube light all as per Cat No. ENDURA LINEAR NEO BS22WLED865SPCWH of Havells or equivalent of other specified makes fixed on surfaces of wall or ceiling including taking down the old fitting complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 34 watts Environment friendly, new generation, aesthatically, ultra modern designed recess mounting luminaire with high brightness SMD LEDs as light source suitable for 2'x 2' grid ceiling all as per Cat No. PLUTONEO2X2 PLR34WLED857S of Havells or equivalent of other specified makes fixed to ceiling after taking down the old fitting complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 28 watts high efficacy 2 x 1 recess LED flat panel with high brightness LED for glare-free homogenous illumination suitable for POP ceilings along with wedge brackets all as per Cat No. PLUTO2X1PLR28WLED857S of Havells or equivalent of other specified makes fixed to ceiling including carrying out requisite alteration/ cutting in existing frame fixed in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down carefully, dismantling and opening the following fans of any size/ any make after disconnecting the electric connection for attending repairs, reassembling, refixing and re-connecting the fans to ceiling rose/ connector after necessary servicing and replacing the spare parts etc., complete all as specified and as directed:- Notes: (i) Supply only of spares and painting will be measured separately. (ii) Servicing like cleaning, application of lubricant oil/ grease, replacement of pins, nuts, bolts etc is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.
