The cleaning shall be carried out with mechanized operation by means of diesel/electric operated vehicle mounted hydraulic operated high pressure suction cum jetting machines fitted with pump of requisite capacity and the sludge sucked out with super succer machine of required capacity and sent to storage tanks for further disposal to the authorised disposal sites. The sludge deposited in the sewage line shall be fully cleaned and disposed off the same outside the MoD land at any distance and without any additional cost on the same day when it was taken out. The job shall be carried out with safety precaution equipments and with strict supervision complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) The service provider/contractor during the mechanized operation shall be equiped with gas monitor, nylon rope ladder, torch light and compressor blower etc alonwith the sewage cleaning truck mounted suction/jetting machine. (b) Manual cleaning operation/scavenging is prohibited. (c) The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall interalia deem to include the cost of proviiding skilled driver and operator and supervising Engineer including provision of water for jetting and removal of sludge/silt/liquid/mud and sand (in foul position) etc (d) The effective length of pipe for the purpose of payment shall be excluding the length of manhole.

Taking out settled sludge from man holes / septic tanks, and removing the same by means of covered vehicles to out side of MOD complete all as specified and directed. Note - semi solid / liquid sludge shall not be measured but shall be removed
