SPECIAL REPAIR TO EXTERNAL SURFACES OF SCHOOL BUILDING OF KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA LUCKNOW CANTT UNDER GE (WEST) LUCKNOW

M&L for Brickwork with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:6) including demolition of brick or stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, Pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:6 on other than fair faces of brick work or concrete surface finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM (1:4) with water proofing compound (@ 3% by weight of cement) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface finishing the surface even and fair including taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.)

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in CM (1:3) on concrete surface and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement as on ceiling including taking down complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM (1:6) on other than fair faces of brick work or concrete surface finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 with water proofing compound (@ 3% by weight of cement) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface finishing the surface even and fair complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.)

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of OBD over a coat of 1mm thick wall care putty complete all as specified and directed. Note: Oil bound distemper shall be carried out through roller.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of fineshed walls and applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489 : 2004, Alkali & Fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/10 Sqm over and inculding priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Primer and emulsion to be carried out through air less spray machine (Mechanical means). The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidder shall include the same:- (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The contractor shall upload with the documents under cover-I "Memorandum of Understanding" (MoU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected. (c) Use of scaffolding, trestles, ladders,cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures. (d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc. (e) Work in patches and in narrow/widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery electric fittings, wiring etc, Drop and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work.

M & L for preparation of new plastered surface of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Complete removal of existing treatment on wall/roof projections including facia, corneces etc by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) with sanding pad of appropriate grit to make surface clean, free from dust, loose paint etc by skilld labour complete all as specified and directed.
