Earthing of the electromechanical machinery which includes the earthing of electrical equipments- 6.6 kv, 1250 ampere rating HT control panel -01 no., 250 kvA-02 no’s LT transformer -02 nos, 1500 HP HT motors-01 no. and neutral phase of 5 mva 66/6.6 kv transformer unit no-01 - 02 nos, neutral phase of 5 mva 66/6.6 kv transformer unit no-02, -02 no,s at LIS Basantpur. The job includes digging of a pit in the earth which should not be less than 3m (10ft) from the ground level by manual means or by mechanical means. Providing and fixing of Plate made up of GI with dimensions 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm is buried vertical in the earth (earth pit) which should not be less than 3m (10ft) from the ground level. Put about 30 cm layers of powdered charcoal, crystal salt and good earth/ soft soil around the earth plate so so that it covers whole earth plate. Providing and fitting of GI strip 50 mm X 06 mm from earth plate including connection with G.I nuts, bolts and spring washers etc inside the pit (joining shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of G.I nut, bolt, spring washers spaced at 50 mm). Then welding, laying, fixing and clamping of G.I strips 50 mmx 06 mm from earth pit sites to HT control panel body, transformers neutral phase, LT transformers, and to body of HT motors. Providing and fitting of 40 mm dia pipe 10 feet each earthing for pouring water inside the pit to maintain moisture. Filling of pit after complete work with digged earth and making even surface. The job includes the cost of material, labour, transport charges and any other miscellaneous charges (8 No. earthing Job). Connection of already done 4 nos earthing to body of 5 MVA power transformers 02 nos by providing 50 mm x 6 mm G.I strip 50 meter approx. then laying and laying of strips from earthings points to power transformers 02 nos, then connection with body of power transformers with G.I nuts, bolts and spring washers etc (01 No. Job).
