Sch 'A' Sec-XII (Miscellaneous Items)Note : This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the pre-priced rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under Col. 5 siginifies this fact only.

Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes etc. for area filling/ forming embankments including raising (any height from EGL)/lowering by approved earth and including raising earth spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick each layer, watering, compaction with using surface/plate vibrator/hand roller and finished to required size and shape etc, any high/depth from EGL. Notes :- (i) Earth required for the item, shall be supplied by contractor, from out side MOD land of any lead, at his own arrangement. (ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction, royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) With reference to clause 3.6 of MES schedule Part-II on serial page No.21 it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment/traverse of filled earth after consolidation/ compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (iv) Total quantity / partial quantity of earth may not be available in Guwahati area. The contractor shall bring the earth outside area and it is advised to quote the rate considering availability of soil and its lead involved. (v) The roller /compacting equipments will be approved by GE.

Supply and fixing for epoxy powder coated Distribution Board VTPN 6way, 18 module vertical type (IP 43) with Incomer as MCCB and outgoing MCBs with common bus-bar at incoming end of outgoing MCBs, grouted/ flush to wall complete all as specified and as directed. Supply & fixing thermoplastic cable junction box for street lights of size 205 x 255 x 112 mm, IP 66 protection, weather proof for outdoor installation with terminals and knockouts for cable entry suitable for 10 Sqmm to 25 Sqmm cable complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- Hensel CAT No. KF2525B or equivalent model of make list as given in Appendix 'B'.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of silent type Diesel Engine driven Generating set Water cooled type, 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire (Engine as per IS: 10001/10002 and alternator as per IS: 13364) complete with foundation as per manufacturer's recommendation, control panel with necessary protection and meters including sound proof canopy of capacity 100 KVA including the following: - ENGINE:- Diesel engine prime mover of suitable BHP to drive 100 kVA alternator with the following: - (i) Fuel level indicator (ii) Fuel tank of suitable capacity for storing minimum 12 hrs consumption capacity at 75% load.
