PROVN OF DESERT COOLER TO UPGRADE THE LIVING ENVIRONMENT OF AIR WARRIORS/DSC PERSONNEL AT FEROZEPUR UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA

Supplying, installing and testing factory-made Desert Air Cooler of standard size with water sump capacity shall be minimum 80 litres, suitable for operation on 230 Volts, single-phase, 50 Hz AC supply, complete with fan motor of 450 mm sweep, having nominal air delivery capacity of not less than 4000 Cu.m/hour, comprising of submersible water pump of suitable capacity, water distribution system, top water tray, front grille, ON/OFF switch, speed regulator, honeycomb cooling pads of adequate thickness, with all necessary fixing arrangements for easy removal, cleaning and replacement complete as per manufacturer's standard. The cooler body, including water tank, shall be fabricated from minimum 18-gauge galvanised iron (GI) sheet, finished with anti-corrosion powder coating on both inner and outer surfaces. The item shall also include supplying and fixing sufficient length of 3-core PVC sheathed copper flexible cable with heavy-duty 3-pin plug top, testing, commissioning and all necessary fixing accessories, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) The contractor shall submit the original purchase invoice of desert cooler and manufacturer's warranty card for the fan motor, water pump before processing of payment. (ii) The contractor shall obtain prior approval of the make, model of the desert air cooler from the Garrison Engineer through the Engineer-in-Charge before placing the purchase order or procuring the item. No procurement shall be made without such approval.
