PAINTING AND POLISHING TO STEEL / WOODEN FURNITURE UNDER THE AOR OF GE DEOLALI

Material and labour for preparing of old/new polished wood based furniture articles as per the following steps:-Step 1 Sanding:- The wood components shall be rubbed with sand paper No 120 along the grains to remove any dust/ wax/unwanted stains from the surface, the sanding will be repeated with sand paper between 180-220 grit in order to achieve the smooth surface and the wood will be wiped clean with soft clean cloth complete all as specified and directed by Engr - In - Charge. Steps 2 : Staining : Any cracks or holes shall be filled with wood filler of good quality approved by Engr -In - Charge. After the wood filler has dried completly sanding with a stain of approved shade will be then applied to the prepared surface with the help of a soft malmal cloth or brush along the grain'. two to three coats of staining will be done letting the stain dry completly between each coats and sanding every time very fine grit sand paper ( 220-320)

NOTE: Excess stain should be wiped off before drying and getting absorbed in wood. Step 3 Polishing : Wood will be finished with a good quality french polish ( mixture of shellac grains and methylated spirit in ratio 1: 10) two to three coats shall be applied to prepared wood surface letting each coat to dry and absorbed fine sanding can be done if required,Polish shall be applied with a soft cloth/ brush along the grains and not against it to achieve high gloss complete all as specified and directed by GE DVL / Engr - In - Charge. M & L for preparing of furniture items as per following steps : (i) Denting of bent surface wih the help of hammer in best workmanship manner. (Ii) Removing old paint by scubbing with sand paper 150 no throughly (Iii) Applying one coat of metal primer make: asian / dulux/ nerolac. (iv) Applying metal putty to even the surface and wait period of 2-3 hours to be given for putty to set and dry completely, Scrub off the excess putty with 150 No sand paper and spreying little amount of water simultaneously. (v) Wipe the surfface with soft dry cloth and apply two coat of enamel paint by means spray painting shade as approved by GE DVL / Engr - In -Charge.Make Asian (Apcolite), Berger (Luxol), Shalimar (Superlac)
