REPAIR/REPLACEMENT TO ROOF SHEET, ROOF TREATMENT, REPAIR TO GUARD POSTS AND OTHER MISC WORK AT AF STN PURNEA UNDER AGE (I) (AF) PURNEA

Taking down cement plaster and old APP membrane of any description on concrete surfaces such as soffit of chajjas and brick walls etc. including raking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbing down with water and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing roof treatment to existing roof with APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (wt. not less than 150 gms/sqm) and sequence of the work is as under:- (a) Roof slab shall be cleaned thoroughly by using wire brush [Mechanical / hand brush] to make it free from any loose particle, dirt / dust, etc. (b) Cement slurry @ 3 Kg/Sqm shall be provided over cleaned roof surface. (c) Thereafter 10mm thick cement screed in cement mortar 1:4 will be applied on surface to have a smooth surface for laying of water proofing membrane. (d) After setting & drying cement mortar, the entire surface of the roof slab shall be cleaned thoroughly to remove all loose particles, dust/dirt particles and applied bitumen primer @ 0.5 litre/Sq.m.

Item No. 2.00 [Contd... ] (e) Over hot blown grade bitumen 85/25, polymeric water proofing membrane 3 Kg/Sq.m shall be laid over entire roof surface and on vertical surface up to grooves as applicable [or as per manufacturers recommendation] with over laps of 100mm. The overlaps shall be sealed by flames or as per manufacturer instructions. Water proofing membrane shall be tucked in wall to a depth of 25mm [minimum] where applicable. Groove made in wall shall be filled with bitumen mastic filling without any extra cost to Govt. Hot blown bitumen applied below membrane should be compatible with membrane all as per recommendation of manufacturers. (f) A coat of hot blown bitumen 85 / 25 grade @ 1.2 Kg /Sqm shall be applied over water proofing membrane and finally it shall be finished with a coat of bituminous aluminium primer @ 0.10 Kg/Sqm. (g) Note :- (i) Quoted rate shall be included for work in building/struture of any height. (ii) Work should be carried out by authorised applicator. (iii) Contractor shall submit a guarantee of 10(Ten) years for leakage and seepage on account of this execution.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, flat or curved incl ridges hips valleys as in roof coverings, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed as per manufacturer's instruction with self tapping screws, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based plane steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed as per manufacturer's instruction with self tapping screws, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling asbestos cement (corrugated/ semi corrugated etc) sheet in roof covering, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 6 mm thick asbestos cement corrugated or semi-corrugated sheets in roofs, walls, etc fixed with L-type or J-type or cranked hook bolts, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for asbestos cement one pices adjustable plain angular ridge 6 mm thick fixed with L-type or J-type or cranked hook bolts, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of timber scantlings fillets , rails ,posts ,rafters , purlins , etc under 40 sqcm in section, in any position, complete all as specified and directed.
