M&L for carrying out regular checking and maintanance of following diesel generating sets including connected alternator and control panels, and carrying out routine 'A' check of the set complete for smooth functioning all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

Note for Item No. 1 :-(i) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

(ii) Servicing of DG set alongwith connected alternator and control panel including 'A' check of the Engine shall be carried out at regular intervels as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and the contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenenace period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set all the time.

(iii) Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares shall be deemed to be inluded in the rate quoted for this item.

(iv) The contractor shall also attend to the breakdown calls and depute necessary technician for repair/maintenence works as and when required with out delay during the maint period.

(v) List of checks to be carriedout under 'A' check is attached as Appendix 'A' to the Particular Specifications.

Note for item No. 2 :- (i) Cost of all consumables required during the servicing / maintenance of the DG Set shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

(ii) Spare parts, filter elements, engine oil, distilled water and radiator coolant liquid required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid seperately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares/filling of oils shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

(iii) AMF Panel and control switches such as MCCB, Main switch, contactors, multi display meter and engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall exlusive of servicing/ maintenance of the above said fittings.

M & L for de-scaling of radiator assy by disconnecting and removing from eingine, opening the top & bottom chambers, descalling the sediments and scales, corrosion etc and cleaning the core pipes with cleaning chemicals (radi wash) and high pressure water washing and arresting the leakage in core, if any, by brazing / dummy with lead, compressed air cleaning, reassembling the same with new gasket, and fixing to the engine with new hose pipe and clipes as reqd and filling radiator coolent complete all as directed for the following DG sets :-

Cleaning throughly and preparing surface by removing rust, dust and oil, and painting of complete DG Set with two coats of existing colour code including control / AMF panel board complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Painting should be done with existing colour codes and paint should apply with the help of spary gun using air compressor. 2. Quotated rate shall deemed to be inclusive of preparation of old painted surface and applying zinc chrome primer in patches over rusted portion all as directed.
