Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation/ fixing pole/ laying cable and pipe line etc or for man hole etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers, not exceeding 25 cm thick using excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated Soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing dry river sand as in sand cushioning to under ground electric cable including punning down of sand in layer complete all as specified and as directed. Note: For measurement & payment purpose, punned thickness of sand only shall be considered.

Supply, jointing and testing in repair straight through, heat shrinkable, jointing kit suitable for PVC/ XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty aluminium conductor 1100 volt grade of size 10/16 Sqmm, 4 core including taking out faulty portion of cable in any situation/ position complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for locating the fault in underground electrical power cable of any length & any type of 1100 volt grade LT cables, by arranging fault locating Machine & pin point the fault, cutting the cable at fault to fixing the joint including testing of the cable after locating fault and jointing cable including excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Jointing of cable shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this Schedule. (ii) If fault is not rectified within 24 hours after receiving Message, the contractor shall be charged penalty for Rs 500/- per hour per complaint and shall be deducted from next payment due to contractor. The complaint register shall be maintained duly signed by the Engr-in-Charge & Contractor.

M&L for painting on steel tubular Pole (of any height) for street light fittings including GI pipe/brackets fixed on poles, by applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of aluminium colour including cleaning & preparing the surface properly with sand paper including making strip with yellow/black/ white colour synthetic enamel paint (road signal paint) of the required width as directed at site up to 1.5 metre height from ground level, writing numbers and letters of required size as directed at site above 1.5 metre height from ground level complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Quoted Rate shall deemed to be Inclusive of marking numbering on Poles after Painting work.

M&L for painting on PCC Pole (of any height) for street light fittings including GI pipe/brackets fixed on poles, by applying two coats of water Bonding cement based paint, Grey colour, including cleaning and preparation of surface properly with sand paper, making strip with yellow/black/ white colour synthetic enamel paint (road signal paint) of the required width as directed at site up to 1.5 metre height from ground level, writing numbers and letters of required size as directed at site above 1.5 metre height from ground level complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Quoted Rate shall deemed to be Inclusive of marking numbering on Poles after Painting work.
