REPAIRS REPLACEMENT OF OLD RUSTED GI CI PIPELINES OF WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION NETWORK AND CERTAIN OTHER ALLIED WORKS OF EM SERVICES AT NOFRA AND VARUNAPURI AREA UNDER AGE EM II OF GE NW VASCO

Amount

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5M wide & n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying & removing of pipe any sizes and getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified.

All as per Item No.1.00 above but in soft disintegreted rock/ laterite rock.

Returning and filling including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick using hard/dense soil complete all specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at all level not exc 1.50 mtr abovethe strating point complete all as directed.

Taking up old GI tubing and connection from the trenches / floor or walls of the following sizes complete all as specified and as directed :- Note :- Excavation & earth work not included same will be priced, measured and paid seperately under relevent items of Sch 'A'

Supply & laying GI Tube medium grade with all fitting (union, elbow, socket), flanges,nut & bolts laid in trenches complete of the following size

All as per item No. 6 but fixed to wall/Ceiling or laid on floor with all fitting (union, elbow, socket) , flanges,nut & bolts of the following sizes :-

Taking up CI water mains (including all fittings) with spigot & socket ends including burning out lead joints all as directed for the following sizes :- Note : Earth work excavation & lead joints shall be measured & paid seperately.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing in trenches DI pipes class K-9 of standard length spigot and socketed end push type joint with rubber gasket as jointing material , internal cement morter cutting and external surface with bituminious paint ISI marked for followibng sizes all as specified & directed.laid in trenches complete :-

(a) 200mm bore size

(b) 150mm bore size

(c) 100mm bore size

Laying only CI pipes obtained from item No 8 spigot and socket ends in any length laid in trenches complete after cleaning for following sizes :-

Cutting cast iron pipes and reducing to required length in position for insertion of new tees, branches etc for the following sizes:-

(a) 200 mm bore

Material & Labour for run lead joint for cast iron spigot and socket pipes and fitting of size 200mm bore including taking down existing lead joint complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour in repair Cast iron detachable joint (CID) / tapping saddle joint clamp type with suitable tapping suitable for the following sizes of pipes:-

Supply & Fixing in repairs gun metal gate valve with iron head wheel screwed both ends for iron pipe, fixed in repairs with ISI mark all as speicified and directed

Material & Labour for cutting existing steel tubing for alteration or addition (Each cut measured) of the sizes and screwing existing steel tubing for alteration of size 40/50mm bore size.

Opening stuffing box of sluice valve and Supply & Fixing new Stainless steel spindle with check nut fabricated out of superior quality all as per sample as required at site including replacement of unserviciable rubber gasket, bolts, nuts & washers suitable for following size of sluice valves:-

(a) Bore of pipe 200mm

(b) Bore of pipe150mm

(c) Bore of pipe100mm

(d) Bore of pipe 80mm

Supply & Fixing in repairs CI sluice valve PN 1.6 double flanged and drilled, heavy duty with Stainless steel spindle cast iron wheel including necessary joining material, nuts, bolts & washers with rubber insertion/ packing on both ends for the following

(a) Bore of pipe 200mm

(b) Bore of pipe 150mm

(c) Bore of pipe 100 mm

Material & Labour providing cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in roof kerbs or mud stops, base for valve pit, making good the road cutting and like, rounded or chamfered on edges all as specified and directed

Material & Labour rendering 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:6 on brick work or concrete surface, finished even & smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing in repair Brass water meter multijet magetic driven class - B of bore size 40mm as per ISO norms/ standards with water proof dial qauge / unbreakable transparent dial gauge cover for reading made of non rustic metal / plastic moving parts with stainer as per manufacturer for measuring bulk water supply flow on existing size water distribution main testing on full pressure including removing of old malfunctional / unserviceable water meter complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & Fixing in repair Brass water meter multijet magetic driven class - B of bore size 50mm as per ISO norms/ standards with water proof dial qauge / unbreakable transparent dial gauge cover for reading made of non rustic metal / plastic moving parts with stainer as per manufacturer for measuring bulk water supply flow on existing size water distribution main testing on full pressure including removing of old malfunctional / unserviceable water meter complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for construction of brick masonary valve pit chamber of size 900 mm x 900 mm x 900 mm (internal dimension) including necessary excavation and earthwork, PCC 1:4:8, brick work in cement motar 1:4, 12 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on internal surface of valve pit and mild steel sheet cover 05mm thick and mild steel angle iron frame size 50mm x 50 mm x 06mm around of valve pit, locking arrangement with pad lock of size 50 mm brass, 6 leavers and key( make ; Godrej) complete including two coat of synthetic enamel over a coat red oxide primer on steel surface with preparation of surface and including dismantling of existing valve pit complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No 27 but of size 1050mm x 1050mm x 1050 mm (internal dimension)
