M&L wire brushing and cleaning top surface of cement concrete including flashings and junction of parapet etc. and surface painting with a layers of blown grade bitumen of any penetration applied hot @ 1.7 kg per sq.m. blinded with grit or pea size gravel @ 0.006 cu.m. per sqm and lightly tampered (area of flashings, etc., shall be added to the roof area) complete all as specified and directed.

Note : Joints 12mm wide to the full depth of PCC shall be provided at every 3 meters and at every change of direction and shall be filled with mixture of bitumen and sand 1:3 by weight. Cost of this provision shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for concrete in plinth protection.

M&L for 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in pavement/hard-standing laid in alternative panels, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed.
