The bottom of vertical post shall rest on 300x300x70mm 1:2:4 concrete base etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers..

Dismantling and clearing away carefully and stacking materials useful for reuse of fire affected and Cracked Madras terrace roof of approximately 31cm thick and conveying the debris from inside to outside etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Dismantling the damaged mangalore tile roofing including removal of pan tiles , wooden reeper with T.W. planks and stocking of the useful materials etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Removal of damaged wooden doors and windows without causing any damage to the existing ancient brick masonry wall including carefully removing brick corners of doors and windows etc complete complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Dismantling of damaged and undulated flooring and conveying debris from all floors to ground level outside the mahal etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Carefully removal of existing dead (detoriated) lime plastering over the wall, arches and ceiling etc., including erection and dismantling of scaffolding etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Dismantling of Leaky weathering course with pressed tiles and disposing the debris including proper centering for the safety of labours etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Carefully removing the decayed/ affected wooden beam/joist/girder in Madras terrace roofing upto 12.00 m length by carefully dislodging at ends and top including making necessary notches or openings in the wall on either side of joist, beam to enable it removed and stocking of all materials outside mahal including erection of scaffolding etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Reconstruction of brick masonry wall with similar type of Brick work in lime mortar 1:2 (one lime two sand) using wire cut brick of size 9"x4"x3" (Specially manufacturing) for super structure in ground floor mortar mixed in the herbals executed as per traditional preparation and documented type construction such as arches and lintels etc., including erection of scaffolding curing complete complying with standard specification by the departmental officers.

Labour charges for repairing the TW beam, joist including servicing and refixing. etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Teakwood wrought & putup for joist, beam, rafters and purlins,etc., which are in full length new member placed for supporting the Madras Terrace roof/ Mangalore tiles roof or any other area in all floor as directed by the departmental officers by using well seasoned superior quality and approved variety of teakwood for heritage building work including fixing of iron holdfasts incase of doors, windows and ventilators etc.,and excluding cost of holdfasts and making necessary size holes in the masonry to receive the ends of wooden joists, beams, etc., all fixtures and fastenings etc., complete. Item to include all moulding and chamber to be made as per original design indicated by the Engineer In Charge. (The rate includes the cost of teakwood, labour charges for wrought and putup to the existing clue/design, fixing in position to true alignment and gradient wherever necessary. Complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers (sample of teakwood to be shown to the Executive Engineer concerned for approval before use on work). Application of Solignum on the wooden surface should also be done. In all floors

Grouting and stitching the cracked wall and arches by toothing method including required terrace bricks of size 8”x 4” x 2” wherever necessary and cutting of groove and fixing of key stone of size 900mm x 230mm x 200mm and finishing the surface with lime mortar 1:2 (one lime and two sand) as per original etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Redoing of madras terrace Roof with Brick on edge and one course of apl. Bricks over 20mm lime pavement and laying of brick jelly concrete in lime of thickness 150mm and then laying of 2 course of spl. Brick over 20mm lime pavement etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Relaying of flooring with new Athangudi tiles of size 25.4 cm x 25.4 cm x 1.90 cm (10”x10”x3/4”) with Cement mortar 1:2 ( One of lime and two of sand) 20mm thick base mortar using Pollachi lime in all floors over the existing slab / floor wherever necessary,laying in position and pointing with lime mixed with colouring pigment at the rate of 0.3 Kg. / sq.m. etc., complete complying with standard specification as per directed by the departmental officers. (The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works)

Renewal of supplying and fixing in position of Teak Wood Reepers of size 2"X 1" including Loading,Unloading and Conveyance at site of work etc., complete complying as directed by the departmental officers.

Laying of roofing with old Mangalore tiles over galvanised sheet 0.25mm set in teak wood reepers of size (50x12mm) using in all floors for brick masonry band with mangalore tiles including teak wood reepers of size (50x12mm) complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The rate includes the cost of all materials like mangalore tiles, galvanised sheet and labour charges for laying of mangalore tiles with galvanised sheet roof in position)

Renewing and fixing in position of best and approved quality of mangalore ridge tiles including cost of tiles and fixing the tiles in position etc.,complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Replastering the ceiling, etc., with Lime mortar 1:1.5 (one Lime and one and half sand), 20mm thick using Pollachi lime in all floors including labour charges, etc., complete complying with standard specifications as directed by the departmental officers.

Replastering ( base plastering) the brick wall, pillars and arches, etc., with lime mortar 1:2 ( one of lime and two of sand) to a thickness of 30 mm laid in two layers of 15mm thick using Pollachi lime in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Making , supplying and fixing of Teak wood panelled door shutter two leaves of door opening of the door shutter using Teak wood styles and rails of thickness of 0.05m alround and centere and the panels should be covered with 50mm thick Teak wood planks and louvered planks of size 150mm x 20 mm thick, all are to be done in the existing clues the shutter should be fixed in position with necessary furniture fitting such as 6-Nos cost of Aluminium butt hinges 6” long, 4-Nos Aluminium tower bolt 3'-00”, Aluminium aldrop 10” with necessary screws and nails and painting the door shutter with one coat of primer etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Making, supplying and fixing of panelled window shutter with Teak wood styles and rails of thickness of 0.04m both vertical and Horizontal and intermediate frames and the panels should be covered with 25mm thick Teak wood planks, all are to be done in the exisiting clues including labour charges for wrought put up and fixing the shutter in position with necessary furniture fittings such as Aluminium Butt hinges 125x30mm-3Nos Aluminium Hooks or eyes - 6”-2 No and tower bolt 3”-1No including finishing the shutter with one coat of primer and finishing neatly etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and Fixing of Teakwood handrails for courtyard terraces and Ramps using 50mmX100mm rail and main supports at a height of 1000mm and 900mm from Floor level with 50mmX50mm thick teakwood as balusters joint to bottom and top rail including cutting,fixing charges and applying lac polish as the finish to the rail as directed by the departmental officers.

Revarnishing the old wood work with two coats of best melamine varnish of approved quality and brand including preparation of surface etc. The rate is inclusive cost of all materials, labour charges and finishing neatly etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers etc. complete.

Painting the wall with two coats plastic emulsion paint of approved quality over apriming coat including cost of brushes and all other materials required and the scaffolding charges. (The paint to be used should be got approved by the Executive engineer before us on work.

Providing pest control with anti-termite treatement drilling holes at junction of walls with floors at 300mm intervals and injucting chemical emulsion on those with cement etc. making holes along the vertical surface out side the walls at 150mm intervals to the depth of 450mm pointing chemical emulsion into the holes and closing holes with chemical etc. spraying all surface of treatment is to be done as per IS code no:5313/ Part III 1981 with approved chemical. (The chemical is to be used on the work should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on work) etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
