Note :- Excavation/ boring under raod/ pipe shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.
Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying of cables, pipes etc. and getting out including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed.
Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 12 KV, 630 Amps, both side extensible outdoor Fixed Type (IP54), floor mounted RMU (Ring main unit) 6-way comprising of 630 Amps,50 HZ, Motorised Vaccum Circuit Breaker comprising one No as Incomer & five Nos Vacuum Circuit Breaker as Outgoing, fitted inside robotically / manually welded stainless steel (Non Ferrite Non Magnetic Grade) tank having minimum thickness 3+0.5 mm (as per IEC) having IP 67 Degree of Protection. RMU should be provided with copper bus bars internal, external as well as earthing bus bars, Resin cast ring core protection CT on cables 100-50/1 Amp, 2.5 V 5P10 A, set of 3 each & Resin cast ring core metering CT 100-50/1 Amp, Cl 1.0, 2.5 VA , set of 3 each VCB on cables, one number fault passage indicator per unit, padlock provisions & complete with all accessories. The RMU shall be type tested for Internal arc test of 21kA/1 sec as per IEC 62271-200. The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fitting and PCC work as per OEM specifiacation as required at site:-
01 No Incoming & 05 Nos outgoing 630 Amp motorised SF6 vaccum circuit breaker triple pole, single break 3 position as incomer (On, Off and earth having STC capacity 21 KA for 3 seconds with copper bus bar and copper earth bar fitted with fixed type voltage indicator device as per IEC 61958-1, fully rated with earth switch, spring assisted mechanism, Red/Green Push Button for On/Off Operation, Arc proof hinged type cable cover interlocked with Earth Switch, Air insulated cable boxes and boots suitable for bottom entry front termination of 3 core cable 120 to 185 Sqmm. 3 O/C + 1E/F self powered relay with Low and High set for Over current and Earth Fault. Relay should have LCD ( 16 x 2). Last 5 Fault Record with Time stamp, battery pack replaceable from front.
RMU should be provided with protection scheme with for each VCB for Bus Connected PT Unit -1 No. for Metering consisting of following:- (a) Type M: Air Insulated metering module 12KV, 630A, 20KA for 3sec. (b) Voltage Transformers of the ratio 11kV/√3 / 110 V/√3, 25 VA, Class 1.0 with HT fuses on primary side and MCB on secondary side. (c ) Digital MFM to measure Amps, Volts, Frequency, PF, KWH, KVAR. (d) LED Illumination. (e) Elstein HFS panel heater 300 watt with thermostat suitble for VCB panel. (f) RYB phase indications. NOTE: (i) Contractor shall arrange for factory visit of rep of accepting officer to carry out Routine & type test (Non destructive) (ii) The materials will be purchased only through manufacturing company. (iii) Mechanical operation counter for VCB. (iv) Any other parts/items not specified above but technically required for smooth functioning of RMU shall be deemed to be inclued in the quoted rates.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning out door type cubical panel board outer shell made out of 3.15 mm thick MS sheet and inner shell made out of 2 mm thick MS sheet and MS angle section 50x50x6 mm on PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 platform 40 cm above the ground level and 45 cm below the ground level, frame factory fabricated with front and back openable double door system lockable/openable by Keys having chromium plated 19 mm dia fancy lock, louvers and air vent gasket for natural flow of air “U” type gasket shall be used to make the outer shell completely vermin proof .suitable for 3 phase 4 wire 415 Volt, 50 Hz, tested at CPRI for 35 MVA rupturing capacity at 415 Volts factory fabricated having modern fabrication and testing process which includes seven tank pretreatment process comprising of degreasing, rinsing, de-rusting, rinsing, phosphatising, rinsing and passivation followed by powder coat painting having thickness not less than 100 microns provided with suitable gasket to make it dust/vermin proof and general construction confirming to IS:8623/93. The TPN busbar shall be insulated with colour coaded heat shrinkable sleeve and shall be mounted on suitable size "F" class insulator at an interval not more than 250 mm through out the length of theTPN busbar. M&L Earthing complete with galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick, burried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all around the plate, using GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earth strip electrode bolted or rivetted to earth plate at one end and connected to equipments at another end, GI earth strip encased in and including 40 mm dia GI 'light grade' pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipments,20 mm dia bore GI pipe 'light grade' as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of earth plate, Test point , GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in pit chamber and RCC pit cover 50mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, duly reinforced with MS TMT bars 8mm dia @ 100 c/c both ways with 10mm dia MS round bar as in lifting handles, excavation, earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor/wall all as described in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion. Note :- If the desired earth resistance is not found, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department.
Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by mean of GI wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of GI or steel and connecting to earthing test point, main switch board, testing on completion including PCC cover and frame, PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 as in earthing pit, MS funnel with wire mesh GI pipe 20 mm dia light grade for watering and GI pipe 20 mm dia light grade for the protection of GI wire from earth pit to earth point complete including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning, filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 m all as specified as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I. PCC chamber shall be constructed at least one metre away from the earth pit and GI pipe fittings for watering shall be provided up to chamber and cost of the same is deemed to be included in the rate of earthing.
