Taking out unseviseable cast iron water mains (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead of size 200 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Notes for Item No. 1,2 & 3 (i) A BOO shall be ordered for old material and old material length wise and size wise will be measured and entered daily basis. (ii) The old pipes to be replaced with new for the certain length in a day as per planned manner. Services to be restored with existing connection same day without any extra cost. (iii) The essential items required to connect the existing line & new pipe to restore daily services and deemed to be included in this items. (iv) All the branch connections of existing line to be made as per IS / Satisfaction of Engr in Charge including all accessories deemed included in this item.

Supply, laying in trenches, under floor, under road, connecting, jointing and testing ductile iron pressure pipe, centrifugally cast ISI marked with socket and spigot ends confirming to IS-8329/2000 of standard length of K-9 specification with outside zinc coating of size 200mm dia complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for construction of brick masonry valve pit chamber built in CM (1:4) of size 1050x750x1000mm (internal dimensions) including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil and MS sheet cover with hinges welded to and including angle iron frame with lifting hook including locking arrangement and painting steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and as shown in drg No. TD/2004/26 Sheet 1/3 to 3/3 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for ductile iron fitting such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.), Tee pieces, single branch, "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs upto 200mm dia including tyton /rubber joint confirming to IS 9523/2000 complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for taking out sluice valve of 100mm to 200mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for MS casing pipe of 300mm dia as per IS 3589 (2001), thickness 4.00mm including pushing of same in bore hole under road/hardstanding complete in all respect and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Labour only for making bore hole by adopting method of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) i.e. trenchless technology , micro tunneling suitable for passing 300mm dia casing pipe under the road/National Highway/ Hard Standing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation of trenches in soft/loose soil n.exc 1.5 M wide and n.exc 1.5 M in depth for taking out / laying of pipe lines and getting out including forming bottom surfaces to required gradients complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in and including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated surplus materials (soils) to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtrs and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of road/hard standing surface for laying/removing of pipe lines suitable for 100mm to 200mm dia not less than 1.0 m depth of hardstanding /roads bottom layer including making good in original shape by providing proper size stone boulder as in sub base and 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 after laying /removing of same complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for flat iron clamp bend to shape made up of 32 X 5mm size flat iron MS sheet in two half pieces including one half having a hole and welded one GI socket of 25mm dia on top of hole suitable for up to and including 100 mm dia pipe including nuts, bolts and making hole by cutting/drilling for fixing of clamp with nuts, bolts & rubber packing complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for flat iron clamp made up of 70 X 5mm size flat iron MS sheet in two half pieces including one half having a hole and welded one GI socket of 50mm dia on top of hole suitable for up to and including 100 mm dia pipe including nuts, bolts and making hole by cutting/drilling for fixing of clamp with nuts,bolts & rubber packing complete all as specified.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing 25mm bore galvanized mild steel water tubing medium grade with all GI fitting and laid in trenches, on wall ,floors, ceiling etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing 50mm bore galvanized mild steel water tubing medium grade with all GI fitting and laid in trenches, on wall ,floors, ceiling etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cutting DI pipe line of 100 mm dia in position for insertion of fittings for branch line to make connection complete all as directed. Note : Fittings & valves will be measured and paid separately under respective items
