Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders.The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of KPP portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

The Tender are invited as per Standard Tender bid document KW-1

Conditional Tenders are liable to be rejected .The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

All relevant documents as per the KW-1 need to be uploaded while submitting bid in general documents provision in KPP Portal

Incomplete tender documents will be rejected

The contractor has make his own arrangements for procurement of all the required materials and the materials so procured shall confirm to the relevant IS Specifications or Equivalent and obtain necessary quality certificate from authorised quality control.

The Contractor is fully responsible for the Equipment / Material until the same is handed over to the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER in an operating condition after commissioning.The Contractor is responsible for the proper maintenance of equipment / material as well as protection of the same against theft, elements of nature, damages etc., while in his custody as well as after erection until the same is taken over by the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER under due acknowledgement in writing

All the documents required as per technical qualification criteria needed to be uploaded in Original or Attested by any official not below the rank of Executive Engineer or Notary

The Contractors should submit all the Documents as uploaded in Original or duly attested by a Notary/an officer not below the rank of an Executive Engineer on or before opening of Technical Bid as Notified

Name, address, and telephone, telex, and fax numbers of the contractor is to be provided.

During the execution of works, if any minor minerals are required, contractors have to abide by the Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession Rules 1994(as amended up to date). As per the prevailing rules, for any use of minor minerals, the contractor has to submit the Mineral Dispatch Permit obtained from Mines and Geology Department. If Mineral Dispatch Permit (MDP) is not submitted by the contractor along with the bill, the prevailing penalty and DMF contribution as per Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession Rules 1994 (as amended from time to time ) will be deducted from the contractors bill at the time of payment

The tenderer shall also disclose if there are any bankruptcy proceedings against him

GO Copy enclosed in e-procurement regarding restrictions on Public Procurement from Bidders of certain countries as per Government order No.FD/455/EXP-12/2020, Bengaluru, Dated: 25-08-2020 The Work Done Certificates shall be issued by the Executive Engineer (if work done in Karnataka State) otherwise it shall be issued/counter signed by Superintending Engineer (if the work is done in other states)

The intending bidder firm/company are advised to visit the work site before submission of tenders

Tenderers who meet the specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value

The Tenderer has to quote his rate by excluding GST. However contract will be concluded for the AMOUNT (Exclusive of GST) but Applicable GST will be paid extra prevailing at the time of execution. If the GST rates are revised during the contract period, the Tenderer/Employer has to accept the revised GST rates for making payment/recovery.

Transportation charges from the site of work to Q.C.Lab of all the samples collected for testing should borne by the contractor himself

The rates of items are inclusive of cost of materials, labour charges, HOM of machinery, all lead and lifts and all other charges to complete the work successfully as per specifications and as directed by engineer in charge of work

Each item of BOQ is to be read as with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer in charge

Latest copy of the Income Tax Clearance Certificate , PAN and TAN Nos. to be uploaded.

Bidder has to submit the recently issued work done certificate (with in 6 month from the last date of bid submission) from the competent authority for the work executed in last 5 years. (Refer tender clause ITT 3.2(b))

Corrigendum will be published in web site for all modifications/corrections if any.

As per the Karnataka building and other construction workers welfare cess act 1996 1 % of the bill amount will be deducted from the bill.

While uploading the bid document in the KPP portal the blanks in the bid document should be filled up with appropriate details wherever necessary.

The Defects liability period is 1 years. The contractor is liable to rectify the defects in the work done up to a period of 1 Year from the date of completion of the work at his cost.

Failure of the successful tenderer to comply with the requirements of sub clause 29.1 shall constitute sufficient grounds for cancellation of the award contract and action will be taken as per GO Aae 675 veccha-12/2020, Bangalore Dt: 22.12.2020.

As per Government Order No.LD 300LET 2006, Bangalore, dated, 18.1.2007,1% of the amount of the cost of the work executed will be deducted from the contractors bill every time towards collection of Cess under the building and other Construction Workers Welfare Cess Act 1996

As a third party, vigilance cell which is working under Major Irrigation is now included in Minor Irrigation and Ground Water Development Department, Vigilance cell has empowered to visit the working site often and often without any prior intimation to check the quality and quantity at any stage till completion. Any lapses with respect to quality and quantity of work, losses, the contractor is held responsible. Please Note.

The contractor should mention their recent correct postal address and mail address in declaration forms

The statements showing the value of existing commitments and on-going works as well as the stipulated period of completion remaining for each of the work listed should be countersigned by the Employer in charge, not below the rank of an Executive Engineer or equivalent

The tender processing charges paid by the bidder/ firm/ company are not refundable even if the tenders are cancelled.

If any of the dates mentioned above happens to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good.

The Agency/Contractor should get drilled borewell by Registered Rigger with 7A Certificate. The same should be enclosed while submitting the bill.

Should have been registered as Civil PWD Contractor Class-IV and above. The registered Class-IV Contractor should be registered in same district as of the work and The registered Class-III Contractor should be registered in same Circle as of the work.

N is equal to Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which tenders are invited is equal to 0.25, B is equal to Value, at 2025-26 price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 03 months (period of completion of the works for which Tenders are invited)
