Note for Item No 01 :- (i) In case of requirement, tradesmen provided per one area may be utilized in other areas at the discretion of the department without any extra cost to department as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Rate quoted is deemed to be included for leave reserve/off of the staff employed. (iii) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of uniform for tradesmen employed and the name of the contractor and the tradesman should be stitched on the front side of the shirt pocket. (iv) The rate quoted shall be deemed to including the Providing Log Books & Stationery for all above mentioned installations. (v) The necessary Tools & Plants shall be provided by the contractor. (vi) Group insurance, E.S.I & PF shall be provided to the operators by the contractor as per labour act instruction in vogue. Documents shall be submitted to the department. (vii) Wages to be paid to employee through individual bank account only and documents to be submitted to department. (viii) Minimum wages certificate forwarded along with attendance register and wage register for releasing of payment (ix) Minimum wages to the employees to be paid as per the norm published by the Min of Labour (wages as declared in particular specification ) and the same to be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(x) Each employee should be facilitated with adhoc bonus privilege as applicable in accordance with Govt Of India and the same to be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(xi) In case of absence operator, double the rate quoted to be recovered. (xii) Departmental equipments of each building like fire fighting equipment, motors, pumps, Electric panels and its accessories copper brass materials etc., shall be under safe custody. In case of theft any item recovery shall be made from the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. (xii) All people employed are responsible for cleaning and maintenance including restricting vegetation growth in his equipment surrounding area, upkeep of installations. (xiv) The contractor will adhere to pay monthly payment cycle to the employees irrespective of RAR/Funds availability with department.

Disconnecting of all electrical connections from the unserviceable self starter of any make model, opening / dismantling of self starters suitable to the following capacity DG set for carrying out repairs, complete overhauling the system including replacing the unserviceable parts such as bearing, carbon brushes, clutch plates etc assembling and refixing the self starter in its original position and connecting up all connections & testing complete all as directed:- Note:- Rewinding of armature coil & field coil will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Sch 'A'.

Taking the F/R assembly form its position and shifting to authorized dealer workshop for repairs, replacing, packing kit, injectors, nozzles, fule liners, pipes complete servicing, calibration of F/P & injectors complete of following DG set:-

Repairs of AMF Panel/DG set panel/control panel of 300 KVA to 750 KVA DG Set including checking of wiring circuit, locating/ removing fault including removing of all faulty Relays, Contactors, MCCBs, Wirings, Timer and other components as required and fixing the new switch gears/components and connecting all control wiring and testing to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge. Note : Spares like MCCBs, Relays, Contactors, MFMs will be measured and paid separately.

Taking down the defective turbo charger assembly duly disconnecting the mechanical connections from DG set, opening and thoroughly checking to carry out repairs complete to the turbo charger assembly and replacing the turbo charger kit and spares as required at site including any machining and reassembling and refixing the turbo charger assembly in its original position and reconnecting the same for the following capacity DG set including testing complete all as directed.

Draining out to separate container from the fuel, from the fuel tank of 110 KVA to 500 KVA DG, disconnecting all the fuel lines and other mechanical connections and taking out the fuel tank for cleaning, cleaning fuel tank both internally and externally by removing all the accumulated dust/sediments, leak testing the tank and welding/brazing, and refixing the tank in its original position, replacing the drain plug and PVC pipe protected with flexible pipe, calibrating the fuel tank, refilling the drained out fuel back into the tank after filtering complete all as directed.

Taking down the radiator assembly by unscrewing all mechanical connections from the existing mounting, cleaning thoroughly the choked pipe of the radiator by using detergent like caustic soda, cotton waste etc. cleaning of all the deposited sediments in the pipes, soldering/brazing the leakage pipe, after completion of above works, including replacement of new clamps rubber hoses and AVM pads as required and refixing the same in its original position with suitable size of nuts, bolts and washers etc for the following capacity of DG sets complete all as directed.

100 to 160 KVA DG set.

180 to 250 KVA DG set.

Supply and filling Inhibitor corrosion (coolant additive concentrate) required for top up (TVS Make) complete all as directed. Make: CASTROL/ HP/ SERVO

Maintenance of DG sets and carrying out 'B' check and including cost of replacement of new 'B' check kit such as oil filter, by pass filter, fuel filter, Air filter, CR element and CR plates complete with 'O' rings and draining of Engine oil and filling up with the new engine oil and testing complete all as directed for the following capacities of DG sets of any type/make. M & L for servicing of DG sets of capacity 110 KVA carryout inspection/checking of Radiator assembly for any leakages, Hose pipes, Self starter assembly,DG control panel, Alternator Ir values, FIP system functioning, Exhaust assembly, Ignition system, Battery charger and all general checks to asses the functioning of DG set etc at different locations :- Note : - (a) The cost of spares (material) shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of Sch Á'. (b) The rates quoted against the above mentioned Items is deemed to be included for cost of labour, cost of T & P required. Contractor is responsible to provide 24x7 call back service and repair facility through competent and well experience technician. No DG Set will be left unserviceable more than 4 hrs. If DG set found unserviceable for more than 04 hrs from the time it was reported to the contractor in writing during the term of this contract recovery of 1000/-Rs per such Non functional DG per day will be imposed and will be recovered from the amount due to the contractor. Regarding this the decision of GE will be final and binding. (c) All dismantled old unserviceable items, except those listed in schedule of credit, retrieved from any DG set shall be deposited to MES store yard.

Material and labour for preparation for old painted surface fo DG set trolley by scrapping and cleaning agent and painting with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer including marking number plate, MES No. ,other required nomenclature and all other signs complete all as directed

Taking out of all wheels, hub and break system painting of wheel rims, hub greasing, repairing of break system and refixing the wheel with proper tyre rotation including replacement of unserviceable wheel nut & washer of any type of trolley complete all as directed.

S&F in repairs rubber tyres of size 8.25-20, R 16" steel wheel compatable including tubes and necessary filling pressurised air as required at site including removing old unserviceable tyres of trolley mounted DG set at location.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtrs below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level, connected to and including galvanised iron earth strip of size 32x6 mm with GI medium grade protection pipe of 40 mm dia for earth electrode upto test point or upto 7.5 mtr whichever is less, by means bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron including necessary excavation earth work in any type of soil, PCC chamber (1:3:6) type C1 and RCC cover (1:2:4) type B1 of 40mm thick with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 100 c/c both ways, GI watering pipe 20 mm dia medium grade, wire mesh, funnel, lugs, charcoal, salt etc complete all as per electrical plate No. 3 or SSR Part-I complete all as directed.

M&L for fabricating the acoustic top enclosure of the DG canopy with 18 SWG CRC sheet of size approx 7.5 x 3.5 x 0.15 m as per the OEM norms and providing the PUF insulation of 2" nominal thickness stucking around the inner sheet and partitions complete with lining material covered with GI perforated sheet for sound proofing and painting he enclosure with machine enamel of two pack epoxy polyester powder coating of Siemens green applying with two coats primer including fixing the top enclosure with necessary bolts & nuts and refixing the silencer back to its original position including taking damaged top complete all as directed & to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs MCCB sheet metal enclosure factory made suitable for TP/FP MCCB's of current rating 400 Amps confirming IS-60947-2 including necessary fasteners, nuts & bolts as required at site for fixing the enclosure for any type of walls including cable glands as per the size of cable complete all as specified.
