Rectification of leakage to 500mm ND Rising main of Surface and 600mm NRV of Steel Barge station of WSS Dalbund Nishat

Spot A ( 50mm ND Rising main of surface station ) Repairing of leakage in 500mm ND M S Rising main of surface lift station near entrance to the station on the road by way of Removing of shrubs and bushes near the damaged pipe followed by excavation work involving trench cutting manually for exposing the leaking portion of the rising main. Dewatering of the excavated trench besides engagement of highly skilled labour, Patching of the damaged portion of rising main by way of fabrication welding of M S plate 6mm thick of size 150mmx100mm. Welding is to be carried out in double layers. The job includes arrangement welding machine, gas cutter and other allied accessories for the execution of the job. Spot B ( 600mm Non return valve of Steel Barge rising main) Repairing of leakage in 600mm ND NRV in the rising main of Steel Berge lift station nearby Sub-station by way of Dismantling the top palter of the non return valve by way of cutting the rusted nuts and bolts using gas cutter. Removing the damaged rubber gasket and cleaning the surface of the flange and the non return valve using abrasive cloth. Providing and fitting for new 600mm dia rubber gasket and new nuts and bolts and testing the rising min for any leakage includes arrangement of gas cutter and other allied accessories for the execution of the job.
