NOTES FOR ITEMS NOS 1 to 8 : Excavation in any type of soil/Rock (i.e. soft/Hard dense soil, Soft/Disintegrated Rock, Hard Rock) shall be carried out by only manually by contractor without any damages to existing structure/services. In case of any damage to existing structure/services, the same shall be made good as per existing structure/services by contractor at his own cost. No extra cost will be paid to contractor by MES/Govt for repairs of damages to any type of existing structure/services. The unit rate quoted by the contractor for above items shall be deemed to be included on this account.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm each layers complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not other wise specifically provided for including removing the unserviceable material out side the MOD land complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically including cutting of reinforcement as required to facilitate demoilition including removing the unserviceable material out side the MOD land complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, drains, culverts and walls etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and pre cast concrete articles, built in cement mortar including removing the unserviceable material out side the MOD land complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2(using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 18/20mm thick pre-formed bituminous filler board filled in two layers as in crumple joints as in wall complete all as specified and directed. Note : Each layer of 18/20mm thick shall be measured separately.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete M-25 (Design Mix) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns, etc; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel work for posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed drilling holes, notching for wire, etc, flat iron fillits (for securing wire mesh etc,) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work confirming to Fe-290 Gde -E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings framed and hung as gates, including pintle, hinges, stops, hand made sliding bolt etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, welded or forged into spikes framed guard bars, barred iron doors & walk ways, railings frame work of water tank and similar work confirming to Fe-290 Gde -E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix/readymix plaster 15mm thick on brick or concrete surfaces of walls etc finished even & fair including necessary form work, safety precautions complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for premix/readymix plaster 5 mm thick on concrete surfaces of walls, roofs, beams, columns etc finished even & fair including necessary form work, safety precaution complete all as specified & directed.

M&L brick work with fly ash bricks using old size bricks (as per sample approved by GE) straight or curved on plans exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and includig a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specifies and as directed.

M&L TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required,including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L TMT bars 5 mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia, as in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required,including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note - each line wire to be measured.

S & F punched tape concertina coil (PTCC) razor blade having minimum weight of 8.50 kgs (+) or (-) 5% per coil streched to a length of 5 to 6 mts (50 turns) to achieve 610 mm dia as in fencing to steel post and to another coil/MS nibs etc including fixing with special galvanised fastners such as clips, Clips, U clips complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Linear length of coil after stretching and fixing shall be measured for purpose of payment.

Supply, laying & jointing in position of reinforced concrete pipes of 600 mm bore pipes, class NP 2, laid and jointed with collars including taking out/ down old unservicable pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for granite of any colour( of any type) work 18-20 mm thick as in vertical surfaces such as dado/skirting laid over and including renderning 10 mm thick in CM 1:4 jointed with grey cement slurry and incl pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with marble shade including cutting and polishing complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 110 mm dia PVC (SWR) waste and rain water pipe as in wall single socketed in any length with rubber ring jointed, as in security wall complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 75 mm dia PVC (SWR) waste and rain water pipe as in wall single socketed in any length with rubber ring jointed, as in security wall complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6, type C-1 ( using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in drain complete complete all as specified.

S&F precast PFRC rectangular manhole cover (medium duty) with size 1200mmX500mmX75mm thick, confirming to IS: 12592 and IS:1726, factory made complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm or over inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mi- tred/stopped ends etc complete all as specified & directed at site.

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggragate) as in plinth courses, string courses, mud stops or roof kerbs, benchning, copings, channels, slightly chamfered or rounded on edge including necessary use of form work complete all as specified & directed.
