Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc or for laying of cables, pipes etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.
Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.
Removal of excavated soil/ material to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified.
M&L for cutting/dismantling of PCC hardstanding / WBM road with soling & premix carpet of any description for repair/replacement of water supply pipe lines and disposal of debris & rubbish to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m and making good the same with & including plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Dismantling the existing CI/DI pipe line of 150mm bore carefully with joints of any type and taking out the CI/DI pipes & fittings/specials from trenches, cleaning the pipes properly and stacking the pipes & fittings/specials for inspection of Engineer-in-charge and segregate the serviceable & unserviceable pipes & fittings/specials as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Marking the unserviceable pipes & fittings/specials as “U/S” with white synthetic enamel thick paint for easy identification, all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately. The work is required at the different-different locations.
Laying/re-fixing only serviceable CI/DI pipe of 150mm bore, laid in trenches in new or old position all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Old serviceable CI/DI pipe retrieved from serial item No. 5.00 here-in-before shall be used. (ii) Excavation & earthwork, CI/DI fittings/specials (supply only) and joints shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant items of this Schedule.
Supply, laying, jointing and testing centrifugally cast Ductile Iron spun pressure pipes (Class K9) of 150 mm bore with internal cement mortar lining and external zinc coating (130 gm/Sqm minimum) and bituminous finish layer (minimum thickness 70 microns) with socket & spigot ends (ISI marked) conforming to IS 8329-2000 suitable for push on rubber gasket joint complete laid in trenches all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. . Note :- DI fittings/specials (supply only), joints and excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of this Schedule.

Demolition of old brick work of valve pit of different sizes and new brick work with sub class 'B' old size bricks, compressive strength not less than 75 kg/sqcm built in cement mortar 1:6 complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge
Cement plastering with cement mortar 1:4, 12 mm thick finished with floating coat of neat cement on brick walls of of valve pits, complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L taking out old MS frame of valve pit of different sizes, pit cover and provide MS frame work with angle iron 40x40x6 mm and cover of MS sheet 3mm thick including tarring and painting (where required ) the steel surface with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide prime including locking arrangement, welding, nuts, bolts etc as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply & fixing in repair stop valve 15 mm bore, cast copper alloy, screwed down high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle screwed both ends for iron pipe or for union, all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. .
