Railway reserves the right to place bulk/regular order only on OEM or their authorized dealers who has previously supplied at least One center lathe of same or higher capacity (Both the Distance between centers(Sl No9) and the center height (Sl. No11) should be equal or higher than the values specified in the respective clauses) to any unit of Indian Railways in the past five years. Copies of the following documents should mandatorily accompany the offer. 1.PO copies for the supply made. 2.Inspection Report (or) commissioning report-(or) performance report for the supplied items. The onus of submission of proof of supply lies with the bidder. In case firm does not attach the relevant document to proof required past performance, it will be assumed that firm has no past performance and the offer will be treated accordingly.

Authorized dealer of OEM must upload tender specific authorization from OEM along with their offer, otherwise their offer will be summarily rejected without any back reference.

The procurement of the item is restricted to Class I local suppliers only and the vendors who do not qualify to be Class I local suppliers should not quote in the tender as their offers shall not be considered for any ordering. In case any vendor who does not qualify to be a Class I local supplier for the tendered item and participates in the tender it does so at their own risk and cost and Railways shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the vendor. Requirement of a vendor to be a Class-I local supplier for this item, shall be a mandatory condition in addition to other qualifying eligibility criteria/conditions. [i] Have you attached the past performance credentials with your offer? [ii] Have you mentioned the complete address of the work premises of the OEM where Third Party Inspection (TPI) inspection will be carried out before dispatch of the material?

Railway reserves the right to cancel the PO/LOA and recover the amount 5% of the value of unsupplied quantity, as general damages, from this contract or any other contract of the firm; in case of failure of firm, in execution of contract.

Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.
