| 1.01The scope includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a closed-vessel validated low pressure ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system for 15 MLD (min. inlet flow of 685 m3/ hr). The UV reactor shall be of Stainless Steel ASTM 316L and max operating pressure of 10 bar. The UV system shall be complete and operational with all control equipment and accessories as specified herein in Tender specification. The manufacturer should have UV systems (bioassay) validated without exception.This system shall be capable of disinfecting water to meet the quality standards with a minimal period of 2 years warranty. | |||||
| 1.02Performance Requirements: The UV system shall be designed to deliver a minimum MS2 RED of 60 mJ/cm2 at max. flow, water with a UV Transmission of minimum 60%, at end of lamp life (EOLL) after reductions for quartz sleeve fouling to achieve the reuse effluent quality of 0.00 MPN/100 ml. Post-chlorination, carried out downstream of the UV system, shall ensure below detectable limit (BDL). | |||||
| 1.03Monitoring & Controls: • UV Sensors: ÖNORM-certified, calibrated UV intensity sensor (SO20101) with daylight-blind detection. • Dose Control: Automatic dose pacing based on flow and intensity (Opti Dose or equivalent). • Lamp Monitoring: Individual lamp status monitoring. • Cleaning: Automatic mechanical wiping system for quartz sleeves. • SCADA Integration: Modbus / Profibus / Ethernet communication for remote monitoring and alarms. • Lamp Type: Low-pressure - High-intensity Amalgam with a lamp power of 290 W. • Lamp Life Warranty: Minimum of 14,000 operating hours. • On/Off Cycle Limit: Maximum of 4 on/off cycles per 24-hour period, averaged over the total lamp life. • Lamp Design: Rugged filament design to resist vibration and shock; Teflon/PTFE insulated stranded wiring; ozone-free operation. • Lamp Efficiency: Minimum 35% efficiency must be maintained across varying water temperatures via active filament heating. • Lamp Removal: Top-accessible lamp plugs with IP65-rated integral safety interlocks to prevent removal of energized lamps. etc., complete and as directed by the TWAD Board Officers | |||||
