Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by mannual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock, chiselling, wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibitted) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines, grades, width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within all leads and lifts on acquired width of road and transportation for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping site through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tool /labour if required. All useful material such as stone, shingal, aggregate and slates etcetera shall be sorted out, stacked and measured. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure in all type of classification of soil, comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock , hard rock chiselling / wedging out rocks ( where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 300,1600 and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable / approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty millimetres) compacted thickness including shoring , strutting , pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete ( M-15) in sub structure nominal mix 1 : 2 ½ : 5 ( one cement isto two & half sand isto five graded crushed /broken stone aggregate 40mm ( forty millimetre) nominal size) in parapets as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 800, 900 and 1200 including the cost of form work curing complete including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental or as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge . The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete nominal mix grade M-10 (M- ten) in open foundation using 20 millimetre nominal size crushed stone aggregate in sub structure (drain) including cost of d form work complete in all heights/depths as per drawing and MORD technical specifications, section 800, 900, 1200 and as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Backfilling with granular materials behind abutment,wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 1200 and 1600 and as per the direction of Engineer - in - Charge including carriage of material within all leads,lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/plain /reinforced concrete abutment,wing wall,return wall with 100 mm (One hundred millimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20 (H) towards the draining face complete as per drawing and MORTH technical specification section 300 and 1200 and as per direction of Engineer - in - Charge including carriage of material within all leads,lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:4:8 ( one cement is to four sand is to eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40 millimetre ( forty millimetre) nominal size for all type of structures including pumping or bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) dewatering upto all depths and any quantum of water including removal of slush which may arise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights / depths in retaining wall and breast wall including the cost of form work complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 800,900,1200 and 1600 as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads ,lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub grade to be paid for separately in all type of soil complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 300 as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads,lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Consolidation of sub grade with power road roller including making good the un-dulations etcetra with earth or quarry soil etcetra and re-rolling the sub grade complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge and as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 300 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechnical means 100 mm (one hundred millimeter) compacted thickness, graded, broken /crushed stone aggregate, for Grading-I, 90 mm to 45 mm (ninty millimetre to forty five millimetre) nominal size to water bound Macadam, specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 (Eighty to Hundred) KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening ,type-A, 13.2 mm (thirteen point two millimeter) at the rate of 0.27 (Zero ponit twenty seven) cubic meter per 10 square meter (ten square metre) to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to required density Grading-I as per MORD technical specifications section-400 and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechnical means 75mm (seventy five millimeter) compacted thickness, graded, broken /crushed stone aggregate, for Grading-II,63mm to 45mm (sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) nominal size to water bound Macadam, specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 (Eighty to Hundred) KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening ,type-B, 11.2 mm (eleven point two millimeter) at the rate of 0.20 (Zero point two zero) cubic meter per 10 square meter (ten square metre) and binding material at the rate of 0.06 cum. (zero point zero six cubic metre) per ten square metre of road surface to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to required density Grading-II as per MORD technical specifications section- 405 and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechanical means 75mm (seventy five millimeter) compacted thickness, graded, broken /crushed stone aggregate, for Grading-III, 53mm to 22.4mm (fifty three millimetre to twenty two decimal four millimetre) nominal size to water bound Macadam, specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 (Eighty to Hundred) KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening ,type-B, 11.2 mm (eleven point two millimeter) at the rate of 0.18 (Zero point one eight) cubic meter per 10 square meter (ten square metre) to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to required density Grading-III as per MORD technical specifications section- 400 and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying Primer Coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on the prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg (Zero decimal eight five kilogram) per square metre using bitumen emulsion pressure distributor complete, as per MORD technical specifications section 1500 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads,lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying Tack Coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.275 Kg. (Zero decimal two seven five Kilogram) per Square metre on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom/ complete as per MORD technical specifications section 500 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads,lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing laying and rolling of open graded Premix Carpet of 20mm (twenty millimeter) compacted thickness, composed of type-A 13.2mm (Thirteen decimal two millimetre) to 5.6mm (five point six millimetre) aggregates at the rate of 0.27 cum (zero decimal two seven cubic metre) mixed with bitumen grade - VG-10 (Viscosity Grade ten) at the rate of 14.6 kg (fourteen decimal six kilogram) per ten square metre to the required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base including mixing and heating binder and aggregate in suitable hot mix plant, 30/40 (thirty /forty) tonne per hour capacity, transporting mixed materials with tipper and laying with pavers finisher and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static roller finished to required level and grade to be followed by seal coat of type-B complete as per MORD technical specifications section 500 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads,lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying Seal Coat for sealing the voids in bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using type-B, with bitumen grade VG-10 (Viscosity grade ten) at the rate of 6.8 kg (six decimal eight kilogram) premixed with 0.06 (zero decimal zero six) cubic metre of fine aggregate per 10 sqm (ten square metre), premixed in mini hot mix plant, transporting mixed material with tipper and laying of mixed material manually and rolling with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to hundred) KN, static roller complete as per MORD technical specifications section 500 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and fixing of Semi-reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign 600mm (six hundred millimetre) equiletral triangle as per IRC-67 made of 1.5 mm (one point five millimetre) thick MS-sheets duly stove enameled paint in white colour in front and gray colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm (sixty five millimetre) width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per Clause 1701.3.9 of MORD for Rural Roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mm x 47mm of12 SWG ( forty seven into forty seven millimetre of twelve Standard Wire Gauge) sheet square tube firmly fixed to the ground by mean of properly designed foundation with M-15 grade ( M-fifteen grade) cement concrete 450mm x 450 mm x 600 mm ( four hundred fifty into four hundred fifty into six hundred millimetre), 600 mm ( six hundred millimetre) below ground level as per drawings and MORD Technical Specification section 1700 and as per direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads ,lifts and other incidential . Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign upto 0.90 sqm square metre as per IRC-67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75x75x6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly desinged foudation with M-15 grade nominal mix 1: 2 1/2 : 5 [ one cement : two and half sand : five graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm nominal size] cement concrete 450x450x600mm , 600mm below ground level as per approved drawings and MORD specification section 1700.
