Maintenance and Inspection of 250 KL Surge Relief cum Transmix Tank at ERPL Lucknow

"Preparatory Works: a) Locking of floating roof of the tank on support legs b) Opening of roof manholes c) Dismantling & storage of floating roof seal d) Pumping of residual oil into sump tank using pump and flexible hoses e) Cleaning of oil, disposal through a combination of mechanical / manual mixing process, entry into the tank, removal and storage of left over oil which can't be pumped out further in containers supplied by owner as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge and taking all safety precautions and degasification of the tank to make it 100% gas free. f) Opening of shell manholes"

Strengthening of weld joints (of roof upper and lower deck) by depositing single run with electrode (3.15mm diameter AWS 5.1 E-6013/AWS 5.1 E-7018) including supply of all requisite resources

Repair by weld-on-patch on tank roof, bottom, shell, wind girders and reinforcement plate in front of inlet- outlet nozzle: The scope of repair shall include but not limited to taking delivery of plates 5mm /6mm/8mm/14mm from Owners stock yard, transporting to site, cutting/fabricating to required size, fitment, welding and NDE including supply of tools, tackles, consumables and other requisite resources. Repair scope includes weld on patches on bottom , roof and leg support pad on bottom. NDE covered in separate SOR item:

Patch repair on tank roof (upper lower deck) and wind girder with 5/6mm plates

Patch repair on tank bottom with 5mm/6mm/8mm plates

Patch repair in shell:- The scope of contractor shall include cutting and bending to required dimensions of patch, fitment, welding and NDE including supply of tools, tackles, consumables and other requisite resources NDE covered in separate SOR item. this item does not include supply of steel plates

Installation of Primary Seal: Installation of "liquid mounted" new PolyUrethane seal as per drawing / existing practice & specifications inclusive of tools, tackles, equipments, consumables, non-consumables, manpower and supervision for completing the work in all respects as per tender specification.

Installation of Secondary Seal:- Installation of secondary seal system with all related accessories etc. along with provision for insertion of nozzle of foam based rim seal fire protection system inclusive of necessary equipments, consumables, tools, tackles, manpower and supervision for completing the work in all respects as per tender specifications.
