Disconnecting the 3 phase electric motor of capacity 7.5 HP from the fire fighting pump set, taking down from the foundation , removal of defective winding from the stator , cleaning the slots & core, egressing with suitable solvent using polyester enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge & class F insulating materials, sleeves , cotton tapes etc. The winding is dried in oven & it is impregnated with insulating varnish Of Dr. Beck & Co, & backed in a oven as specified by the manufacturer. After backing a coat of epoxy resin is applied on the winding to protect it from harmful effect of moisture in egress & chemical atmosphere. The motor shall be assembled with fresh lubrication to the bearing & test run to be taken at original position , making all electrical connections. Dismantalling the pump, check the alignment, impelers and bearing etc. Overhauling the pump by greasing, oiling complete. Testing for proper working complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Copper winding wire and bearing of suitable size etc. shall be measured and paid separately under respctive Items.

Disconnecting the 3 phase electric motor of capacity 20 HP from the fire fighting pump set, taking down from the foundation , remove deposits of dust, oil and dirt in the fan cover to maintain good ventilation and allow proper cooling of the motor, remove and nenew grease in ball bearing . The motor shall be assembled with fresh lubrication to the bearing & test run to be taken at original position , making all electrical connections. Dismantalling the pump, check the alignment, impellers and bearing etc. Overhauling the pump by greasing, oiling complete. Testing for proper working complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for repair to Submersible pump set motor of capacity 5 to 7.5 HP by dismantling of submersible motor 3 phase, 440 Volts cutting and removing the burnt winding wire, cleaning of slots and rewinding with super quality PVC insulated water proof copper conductor winding wire and machining as per original dia complete and replacement of thrust plate, thrust bearing, rotor straightenting, sealing kit, balancing of rotor.and reassembling complete all as specified and as directed (Thrust plate, thrust bearing, rotor straightenting, sealing kit, balancing of rotor and reassembling shall be unit rate deemed to include cost of the same by the contractor). Note:- PVC insulated water proof copper conductor Winding shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable submersible cable 3 core 1100 Volt flat stranded copper conductor of size 10 Sqmm, ,complete all as spcified and directed.

Material and labour for cleaning of RCC under ground water sump of capacity approx 100000 Ltrs in technical area by removal of sludge, scrapping silt mud and foreign material etc with wire brushes on the walls and floor of tank and washing and flushing the surfaces with bleaching powder and taking out the same manually from the compartments and removing the same to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed by Engineer -In - Charge and applying two coats of first grade synthetic enamelled paint (Internally ) to the tank, writing date of cleaning with white paint on black patch 45cm X45cm on external surface of tank in technical area complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The cleaning of RCC under ground water tank will be carried out in every six months.

Disconnecting the electric supply and out let connections and taking out of submersible pump set 7.5 to 15 HP capacity with column pipes and submersible cable etc from U/G sump by means of mechanical T&P and keeping aside and repairing the same by supply and replacing the following spare parts complete all as spcified and directed.

Supply and Fixing water flow meter of 15 mm size brass with suitable fixing material at both ends i.e union/elbow/tee etc incl testing of meter as approved of UT Chandigarh . Note :-Old water meter shall be deposited in MES store yard as the property of deptt.

Dismantling existing cement mortar bedding( holding block of motor ) and precast concrete articles complete and remove the wastage material 50 mtr away from site complete all as spcified and directed.

Supply and instalation in replacement monoblock type water pumping set and discharge size 25mm and discharge pressure of 1600 to 600 LPH at 6/30 Mtr head self priming type 1.0 HP capacity single phase 220 volts including disconnecing and re-connect electric and water connection complete all as spcified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing, connecting of mono block centrifugal pump set at a head of 27 mtr, 2900 RPM , 80x 65 mm coupled with squirrel cage induction motor 415 volt 3 phase not less than 7.5 HP/5.5 KW, 50 Hz , insulation type "B" , duty type S-1 complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in replacement of existing cover mild steel sheet 3.15 mm thick of size 0.61x0.46x.47mtr with angle iron frame of size 40 x 40 x 5 mm thick with suitable nuts and bolts to fix on platform of monoblock pump duly painted with two coats of smoke grey paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as spcified and directed.

Supply and fixing for cast iron sluice valve flanged and drilled with stainless steel spindle, iron wheel ISI marked with nuts, bolts & washers and gasket heavy duty PN 1.6 of following sizes tested with high pressure conforming to IS - 14846,of 100 mm dia.

Supply and fixing and testing in replacement of fully automatic water level indicator single phase on water tank upto 10 - 20 meter height with anti corrosion sensor, contact capacity 2 HP , start, stop, auto manual switch , tank level indication, pump on indication and connections with copper conductor copper wire 1.5 sq mm of suitable length complete all as specified and directed.
