WORK SERVICES FOR GRASS CUTTING, REPAIRS TO MONSOON DRAINS, CLEANING OF MONSOON DRAINS AT AF STN KALAIKUNDA UNDER GE P AF KALAIKUNDA

M & L for Scraping of grass/wild growth etc by manually on the shoulders of main Runway/taxi track including all around the runway light, etc, including removing of rubbish from the site to a distance exc, 500m but n. exc 1000m and deposited where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed Note: (i) cutting/scraping of grass/wild growth, etc, growth around the runway light (where ever require) shall be carried once in a month or as directed by engineer in charge and each cutting/scraping shall be measured and paid for separately

M & L for Scraping of grass/wild growth etc by using grass cutting machine on the shoulders of main runway,taxi track,PTT,loops etc and other adjacent areas. including removing of rubbish from the site to a distance exc, 500m but n. exc 1000m and deposited where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed and as per user requirement. Note: (i) Contractor will arrange his own mechanical slasher (minimum set of 03 grass cutting machines with POL, 03 Operators and 02 Helpers/Cleaners).

M & L for Cleaning of monsoon drains upto 1.50 m in depth as ordered including taking out accumulated silts, sand, muds, etc. from bottom of drains, removal of all types of organic materials, silts, sand, muds, etc. from bottom of brick drains etc. to a distance of exc. 250m but not exc 500m, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Monsoon drains to be cleaned for 2 time within the completion period.

M & L for Ploughing and Loosening of sand layer by using Mechanical Tractor including raising (or lowering) to required size and shape for the area approx 4182.00 Sqm (Size 91.5m x 22.85m x 2 Nos) as directed. Note: (i) Ploughing and Loosening shall be carried out at the minimum interval of 15 days or as directed. (ii) One job inclusive of minimum 5 to 6 hrs ploughing with mechanical tractor.

M & L for scraping of grass from joints of slabs manually and removing the grass to a distance of upto 5Km from the site complete all as specified and as directed

M & L for spreading/levelling of sand in layers not exc. 25 cm thick all as specified and as directed. (General Note:- applicable for schedule of works Item No 1 to 6 :-Work will be carried out on non flying day / non flying hours only. No claim will be entertained due to any loss of working hours.)

M & L for Cutting grass mechanically operated tractor mounted grass cutter or slasher where ever required including removing material obtained from cutting/cleaning both side of shoulders and WSA & throw the collected material upto a distance of 5kms away from the site of cutting complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: (i) Contractor will arrange his own mechanical slasher (minimum set of 02 tractor mounted with jungle jim/slasher arrangement) with POL and MT driver. (ii) Work will be carried out on non flying day / non flying hours only as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. No claim will be entertained due to any loss of working hours by whatsoever reasons of delay/cancellation of work. (iii) A log register to be maintained in consultation with Engr-in-Charge. (vi) The Unit Rate of item of work will be inclusive of all the other charges for the machineries including registration charges,Road tax,Insurances charges,maintenance charges,cost of fuel,lubricants,salary of driver,washing charges,any repairing/replacement of spare parts charges and various other taxes & levies,if applicable,fines,etc, charges for collection of grass cut, removal or disposal using any transportation means, labour for collection of grass etc. (v) Reporting duty places is Air Field area under GE(Air Force). The measurement for payment shall be area covered per vehicle. Contractor shall quote accordingly.
