Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201.

Earthwork excavation and deposting on bank with an intial lead of 10m and initial lift of 2m in hard stiff clay,stiff black cotton,hard earth,shales,murram,gravel,stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders as per SS 20A

Picking the Existing BT worn out surface including all albour charges etc complete

Laying US GRAVEL including cost and conveyance and stacking at site to departmental gauge for taking pre measurements by departmental officers and including labour charges for spreading the gravel as per standard specification etc Side berms KM 0/0-1/0

Maintenance to Strengthening of road from R 239 Palrampattu to Milk society road Km 0/0 - 1/740 in Kallakurichi Block

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under PMGSY including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRC-SP-20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost for carriageway width of 3.00m & 3.75m
