Schedule 'A' Section - I

REPAIR TO CHARPOY GI PIPE 32MM AND CONVERSION/ REPLACEMENT WITH PLY TOP (FD-220)

Long rail;- Re-threading and fixing with elbow after removing and cutting the long rail all as shown on drawing and as directed.

Short rail :- All as per description at ser No 1.01 above but to short rail.

Legs :-All as per description at ser No 1.01 above but to legs.

Supply and fixing long rail to charpoy GI made out of 32mm dia GI pipe medium grade conf to IS:1239 Part-I of lengh 1.9 mtr after removing the old one.

Cutting , threading and fixing of short rails obtained from long rails at ser No 1.04 above as per drawing after removing the old one.

Cutting , threading and fixing of Legs obtained from short rails at ser No 1.05 above as per drawings after removing exising unservicable legs.

Supply and fixing of check nut 6mm thick 32mm dia GI to the long rails after removing the old unserviceable chek nuts.

Supply and fixing 32mm GI elbow 3 way medium gde ISI marked after removing the old unserviceable Elbow.

Supply and fixing ply wood 12mm thick BWR type size 1980X930 after tightining of frame all as specefied with provision of flat iron of size 40X6mm,900mm long 2 Nos with 65mm long 6mm dia nuts and bolts 8 Nos with washers after drilling holes complete all as specified including removing the old unservicable nylon newar from charpoy. Note- Contractor shall submit a Purchase Voucher of plywood and manufacturer test certificate for the whole quantity to Engineer-in-Charge before claiming payment.

Material and labour for welding to steel frames of furniture articles such as chair CB steel with arms,chair CB steel without out arms, chair verandah, table office clerk steel, form with out back, steel almirah, Table dining OR's, Locker bed side steel etc, including fixing of parts in proper position by preparing the old welded surfaces. welding shall be done through gas welding, the thickness of the metal to be welded n.exe 16 gauge. Length of welding n.exe. 25mm in each point, all as directed.

CHAIR DINING OFFICERS (FD/E6/MAP/10)

Supply and fixing of seat made out of 75mm thick foam cushioned of 40 density covered with tapestry cloth superior quality, width not less than 1.25m and price not less than Rs 450/- per running metre of approved quality and approved by Engineer-in-Charge and fixed on12mm thick plywood as base. Note- Contractor shall submit a Purchase Voucher of foam cushioned of 40 density and manufacturer test certificate for the whole quantity to Engineer-in-Charge before claiming payment.

Removing unserviceable shelves of almirah Medium steel & material & labour for providing new shelves made out of PBI sheet 1mm thick cold rolled and fixing the shelve with MS clamps, nuts & bolts including two coat of spray painting with synthetic enamel paint of existing colour of Almirah over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of surface complete all as specified and shown on drawing.

Removing of unserviceable locks, supply & fixing of new lock of approved quality as required having 3 way locking device & duplicate key all as specified in drawing.

Removing of unserviceable Tala plates, supply & fixing of new Tala plate of approved quality as per drawings.

Supply and fixing of CP steel handle and make the locking device fully functionable complete, as specified and shown on drawing.

Supply and fixing of MS clamps of suitable size made out mild steel flat iron including nuts and bolts complete all as specified in drawing.

Chair Varandah :- Material and labour for preparation of old painting surfaces of Chair Varandah including cleaning/scraping of old painted surfaces with blow lamp, etc. denting and filling the depression with putty and again rubbing the prepared surface and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour by spray painting machine complete all as specified and shown on drawing.

Supply and fixing of Standred white PVC Shoes to Legs complete all as specified and shown on drawing.

REPLACEMENT OF CUSHION FOR SOFA SET 3/4/5 SEATER

Material and labour in replacement of foam cushion size 600x600x100mm, 40 density duly covered all over with tapestry cloth superior quality not less than Rs 450/- per running metre of approved quality and approved by Engineer-in-Charge. A suitable chain with hook and runner of approved quality one side of the cushion will be provided of the required length as directed by Engineer-in charge. Note- Contractor shall submit a Purchase Voucher of foam cushioned of 40 density and manufacturer test certificate for the whole quantity to Engineer-in-Charge before claiming payment.

Material and labour for cover for sofa cushion size 600x600x100mm with tapestry cloth superior quality not less than Rs 450/- per running metre of approved quality and approved by Engineer-in-Charge. Supply and fixing in replacement of table top for Peg table made out of 19mm thick MDF, exterior grade, one side teakwood faced and other side white balancing confirming to IS-3097 including teakwood beeding 12 mm thick fitted all around duly polished as shown in drawing and as directed .

Preparation of surface by removing of existing polishing mark, scratches from all exposed wooden surface of peg table, cleaning and smoothening with required grade of sand paper and finish with polish to bring the surface to require glossy finish and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of table top for Peg table after removing the old unserviceable top made out of 19mm thick MDF exterior quality one side teakwood faced and other side white balancing confirming to IS-3097 including teakwood beeding 12 mm thick fitted all around and treated with french polished as shown in drawing and as directed .

Preparation of surface by removing of existing polish, marks and scratches from all exposed wooden surface to make clean and smooth with required grade of sand paper and treated the wooden surface with polish for glossy finish complete all as shown in drawing and as directed .

The back foam is designed with contoured lumbar support for extra comfort. (b) The polyutherane Foam shall be of machine moulded with density 45 +_ 2 Kg/m3 and hardness =20 +-2 kg on Hampden machine at 25% compression. (c) The colour, texture and shade of the Fabric to be used shall be got approved from GE, and shall contain following materialsAcrylic, Polyester, Poly-viscose and Polypropylene .One sample of Chair writing shall be got approved from GE before manufacturingin bulk (d) Two Nos one piece arm rest of shall be made out of black integral skin polyurethane reinforced with MS insert scratch and weather resistant 50-70 shore ‘A’ Hardness. The armrest shall be fitted to the seat with powder coated armrest brackets made of5mm thick HR steel. (e) The adjustable tilting mechanism shall be designed with the following features:- (i) 360 degree revolving type mech to allow fluid lateral movement (ii) Forward tilt, self-regulating tilt tension+ Mannual override. (iii) 4 position tilt locking with antishock back mechanism which prevents the backrest from impacting the user when the lock isreleased. (iv) Provision for fitting Drop-lift mechanism which can be adjusted in the range of 70mm and can be locked in 7 positions for betterlumbar support.

TABLE CENTER,FD-274 DIMENSION:Overall size shall be 900mm long, 450mm wide and 400mm high. DESCRIPTION: a) All wood to be used shall be 1st class hard teak wood. b) Irrespective of what is shown on drawing,the top of table shall be 18mm thick BWR plywood of Grade-A with 1 mm thick laminated sheet pasted over the ply with marine grade adhesive and all edges of top shall be covered with 6mm thick teak wood beading c) Irrespective of what is shown on drawing, one center stiffener of size 20mmx50mm shall also be provided length wise at center in between the side bottom rails d) 25mm dia hard rubber /PVC rings shall be fixed to the bottom of all legs with 20mm long screws Rest all specifications and dimensions are as per drawing FINISH:All wooden surfaces shall be polished in high gloss Melamine finish of walnut shade after preparation of surfaces.

Charpoy IP with Hard top (FD/E6/MAP-II/01) a) The overall size shall be of 1980x900x440mm. (b) The frame work shall be made of CRCA box sections as under: (i) Long Rails – 25x65mm box section of 16 guage. (ii) Short Rails – 25x65mm box section of 16 guage (iii) Legs – 32x32mm box section of 16 guage. (iv) Stiffeners for legs – 04 Nos each of 25x25mm box section of 16G thick (v) Stiffener between long rails – 02 Nos each of 25x25mm box section of 16 G thick. (vi) The bed top shall be of 12mm thick BWR grade plywood conforming to IS-303. (vii) All metal work shall be Pre-treated with epoxy polyester powder coating (Black) 70 microns by 7 tank process and Oven Dried with the following specification: - (aa) Dry film thickness more than 45 microns. (ab) Salt Spray test to with stand more than 1000 hours. (ac) Adhesion as per DIN 53152 standards. (ad) Pencil scratch hardness more than 2H. Note- Contractor shall submit a test certificate of epoxy polyester powder coating (Black) 70 microns to Engineer-in-Charge before claiming payment.

Chair Revolving with high back with arms (TP) All as per make and model. The overall size chair shall be 560mm deep. 660mm wide and 1020mm high. The seat and back shall be made of double layered moulded (15+6) mm thick hot pressed commercial plywood upholsterd with high resilience polyurethane foam (40+30)mm thick having density 40kg/m3 in seat and (30+25) mm thick having density 32kg/m3 in back. The same shall be upholstered with leatherite tapestry 0.8mm thick and 535GSM. The back rest of the chair shall be made by keeping the natural curvature of the spine for lumber support as well as head support. The armrest shall be use MS Chrome plated arm with PU completely joint with seat and back. For seating durability the chair shall have swivel tilt 360 degree revolving mechanism with upright position locking and tilt tension adjustment. The pneumatic seat height adjustment for healthy seating user can adjust seat high up to 65mm with BIFMA standerd class-3 gas-lift to suit them using the lever under the seat. The gas lift mechanism should be tested as per ANSI/BIFMAZ5.1-2011 standard. The pedestal should have five legged MS/CRCA chrome plated having pitch circle Dia. 700mm fitted with 5 Nos. twin wheel castor of the chair should be injection moulded in black nylon 30% glass filled powder coated metal base leathrite tapestry Confirming to ANSI/BIFMAx5.1-2011 standard tested to perfom 98000 cycles with 250 Ibs load. Make :- Geeken, Model GP109 or equivalent with similar specifications of approved make and similar pricing.

Almirah Steel Large (1/2 hanging X 1/2 Shelves) (FD/E6/MAP/18) (a) Overall size of Almirah large 1/2 Hx1/2 Sh steel shall be 1900mmx910mmx475mm (b) Almirah body,shutter,drawer,locker, vertical partitions and shelves, shall be made out of 20Guage MS plain black sheet all as shown in drawing (c) Back shall be of 22 Guage plain black sheet (d) Welding process shall be of MIG (Metal Inert Gas) type using Carbon dioxide and Argon blend. (e)All MS members shall be pre-treated with epoxy polyester powder coating(Black),70microns by 7 tank process and Oven Dried internally & externally with the following specifications (i) Dry Film thickness more than 45 microns (ii) Salt Spray test to with stand more than 1000Hours (iii) Adhesion as per DIN 53152 standards. (iv) Pencil scratch hardness more than 2H (f) Rest all as per drawing.

Table office Clk Steel (FD-1004) (i) Frame (Legs, top rails and stiffeners) shall be of 25 mm MS square tube 1.6mm wall thickness and thickness of MS sheet shall be 1mm thick. (ii) Drawer shall be fabricated out of steel sections & MS sheet all as shown on drawings and shall be provided with PVC covering recessed handle and locking arrangement asshown on drawings. Lock shall be of make Godrej / Harrison / Link as approved by GE. (iii) Bending , welding riveting , bolting lapping turning and other items / fitting shall be done / provided as specified in relevant IS and as per trade engineering norms and pattern. (e) Top of the table shall be of 18mm thick pre-laminated MDF board exterior grade, grade I with 6mm teak wood edging all round the top of table. (f) Hard rubber / PVC shoe with steel plate inside of appropriate size shall be provided under legs. (g) All welded construction and steel work (inside & outside) shall be pre treated with epoxy polyester powder coating (in hemotone paint / light grey as approved by GE ) 70 microns by 7 tank process and over dried . Teak wood beading shall be french polished with high gloss finish. Note- Contractor shall submit a test certificate of epoxy polyester powder coating (Black) 70 microns to Engineer-in-Charge before claiming payment.

Book Case Steel (FD-1028) (i) Overall size shall be 1675mm high , 840 mm wide and 310 mm deep. The bookcase shall be made of mild steel sheet 1 mm thick. The book case shall have four compartments. Each compartment shall be openable by swinging up the shutter which can be rolled in top hung glass shutter. One lock and two handles shall be provided to each compartment . Glass shall be 3 mm thick, plain sheet glass. (ii) All exposed steel surfaces shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade over coat of red oxide primer (Spray painting) after preparing the surfaces. (iii) Rest as per trade practice and allas per drawing.

Teapoy Varandah (FD/E6/MAP/17) Overall size shall be 700mm long 400mm wide and 540mm high. a) Frame shall be of 18mm square MS pipe of wall thickness 1.6 mm. b) Base tray shall be made of 5mm dia MS bars. c) Irrespective of what is shown on drawing,the top of table shall be 18mm thick BWR plywood of Grade-A with 1 mm thick laminated sheet pasted over the ply with marine grade adhesive and all edges of top shall be covered with 6mm thick teak wood beading f) Each leg shall be provided with 18mm square hard rubber shoe. Chair dining with cushion(Offr) FD/E6/MAP/10 (a) All woodwork shall be be of Ist class teakwood of specie Tectona Grandis conforming to IS-1331:1971 free from knots and cracks shall be used with moisture content permissible as per IS:287:1973 (b) The Seat shall be made out of 75mm thick, 40 density foam covered with tapestry cloth duly fixed with 12mm thick plywood BWR (as per IS:303), The tapestry cloth shall be not less than Rs. 450/- per meter, dully approved by GE/Engineer-in-Charge. (c) PVC Rings to be screwed to all four legs. (d) All exposed wooden surfaces shall be smootherned before applying french polish till it attains glossy finish. (e) All Joints fixing shall be fixed with bamboo pins and nails shall not be used. (f) Rest all as per drawings or as specified

Rack ShoeSteel (FD/E6/MAP/02) (a) The main frame shall be made of 25mm dia, 18G CRCA pipe and the main shelf fram with 19mm dia, 18 G pipe (b)There shall be five shelves, each of size 300mmx700mm and the space of each shelf shall be covered by 3mm dia MS rods three in length wise and nine width wise (c)All MS members shall be pre-treated with epoxy polyester powder coating(Black) 70 microns by 7 tank process and Oven Dried internally & externally with the following specifications (i) Dry Film thickness more than 45 microns (ii) Salt Spray test to with stand more than 1000Hours (iii) Adhesion as per DIN 53152 standards. (iv) Pencil scratch hardness more than 2H (d) Welding process shall be of MIG(Metal Inert Gas) type using Carbon dioxide and Argon blend (e) Rest all as per drawing or as specified.

Table Peg (FD -277) All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 450mm long, 300mm wide and 380mm high. Legs shall be of teak wood of section 30mmx50mm. The legs shall be 362mm high. 5mmx5mm in section groove shall be provided on the top of legs which shall be visible when placed in position. Two numbers top rails of section 20mmx40mm of teak wood shall be provided connecting legs. The length of top rails shall be 380mm. Two numbers bottom rails of section 20mmx40mm of teak wood shall be provided connecting legs in short sides. Boltom rails shall be fixed at 100mm from the bottom of legs. Top shall be of 18mm particle board commercial with 1.5mm thick plastic laminated sheet fixed over it. 4mm thick teak wood edging shall be provided al-round the top edge of table. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be French polished with high gloss finish. Rest all specifications and dimensions are as per drawing.

Locker bed side Steel (FD-1029) (i) Locker (body, shutter, vertical partiton and shelves) shall be shall be made out of 1 mm thick mild steel sheet all as shown on drawings. (ii) One Nos Hasp & staple shall be of 75 / 100 x 40 x 3mm thick heavy duty chromium plated and two Nos 100mm long chromium plated handles of best quality as approved by GE (as per sample kept in BSO office) shall be fixed with screws or riveted to shutters. (iii) Bending, welding, rivetting, bolting, lapping turning and other items / fitting shall be done / provided in accordance with the standard workmanship and specification. (iv) The welding joints shall be filed smooth and the surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to application of primer. (vi) All welded construction and steel work ( inside & outside ) shall be pre treated with epoxy polyester powder coating ( paint olive green / smoke grey / black as approved by GE ) 70 MICRONS BY 7 Tank process and over dried. (vii) Rest all as shown on drawing and all other items / fittings shall be and provided as per relevant IS and trade engineering norms /pattern.

Amount of credit of Rs. 9224.00 for retrived old material as mentioned in Schedule 'A' section-II of tender document in pdf form, will be deducted offline while acceptence of tender.
