Taking down HT switch gear (Vacuum circuit breaker ) of capacity 11 KV 250/350 MVA , up to 630 Amps comprising of following repairs, servicing, carrying out preventive maintenance and refixing the same after repairs/ servicing. : - Make- Schneider
(a) Tripping off the breaker, lowering the breaker with raising/lowering handle and pulling out the breaker complete from the panel along with the trolley for servicing/inspection/overhauling
(b) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of automatic safety shutter operation for serviceability and replacement of spares if required.
(b) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of circuit spout and circuit spout connections for RYB phases and replacement of spares if required.
(c) Dismantling and checking of cross bar assembly, fixed contacts and current carrying parts of the breaker, trolley, insulated assembly and checking lamination with clamps, epoxy spout, isolator assembly etc.
(d) Setting, reassembling, cleaning, adjustment of fixed contacts, main contact, arcing contacts and chamber baffle pot assembly, moving contact for proper setting of auxiliary contacts operating mechanism.
(e) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of secondary sockets/busbar earthing plugs/earthing sockets and replacement of spares if required.
(f) Checking, setting and adjustment of lowering and raising operation of the breaker trolley.
(g) Lubrication and greasing of all moving parts of the trolley, stopper bolt for proper operating and closing of shutter gear, isolation resistance of trolley of with vacuum interrupter assembly.
(h) The inspection of HT switch gear shall involve:- (i) Inspection of truck & hoist assembly. (ii) Inspection of assembly & components of solenoid assembly. (iii) Inspection of assembly & components of dependent mechanism. (iv) Inspection of assembly & components of spring box mechanism. (v) Inspection of motor mechanism spring charge assembly (vi) Inspection of assembly of trip unit & related components, Make: ABB VCB Indoor type
Notes: (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary T&P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape, compound, to put in to the VCBs and panels in serviceable condition, testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Major spares like Breaker bushings, vacuum interrupter, busbar spout, busbar spout connections, circuit spout/circuit spout connections/buffer fixed contacts, moving contacts, solenoid spares, dependent/spring mechanism/ motor mechanism, trip unit etc will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A'. However the rate quoted shall be deemed to include for any other minor spares require replacement.
Supply only the following spares suitable for 11 KV 250/350 MVA , up to 630 Amps HT switch gear VCBs and 11 KV HT panel repair work under relevant Schedule - Make- Schneider

Material and labour for Strip Opening the busbar of the 10 Nos HT 11 KV VCB panels section for decarbonising of busbar and connected items/removing the old teared/ unsv insulation from the bus bar, checking the IR value before fixing the HT sleeve and refixing the heat shrinkable insulating tape and sleeve suitable for 11 kv busbar not less than 3mm thick having dielectric strength not less than 15kv/mm and HT insulation tape for CT/ PT connection complete and checking the IR value before testing and commissioning the bus bar all as specified . Note :- Test sheet of IR value shall be submitted by the contractor, no cost extra shall be paid by the department and all testing requirement shall be arrange by the contractor including transportation and T&P.
Supply and fix in replacement & testing and commissioning of CTs epoxy cast wound primary with minimum primary current 50 to 630 A, single/ double ratio, double core (Protection core-5P10 & Metering core- Class 1.0), 25 KA for 1 sec of 15 VA minimum Burden including necessary fixing arrangement to match with the existing system complete all as directed Make - as per OEM HT panel manufacturers..
Supply & Fixing in replacement & testing and commissioning of potential transformer PT ratio 11000/110 Volts accuracy class 0.5, 50VA , indoor type , epoxy resin cast, strut type single stage suitable for power measurement, connecting to HT/VCB to match with the existing system complete all as directed Make - as per OEM HT panel manufacturers.
Supply & laying 1.5 sqmm flexible PVC stranded copper conductor cable, unsheathed, 1100 V grade for control wiring.
Supply & laying 2.5 sqmm flexible PVC stranded copper conductor cable, unsheathed, 1100 V grade for control wiring.

Servicing,Inspecting,checking,cleaning by using of blower, Lubrication ,greasing and carrying out preventive maintenance of RMU capacity 11 KV, 250/350 MVA consist of 3 Nos breakers and RMU in serviceable condition, testing all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Make-Schneider

Supply and fix in replacement of old U/S Danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures & conventional skull & bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT 25x20 cm size all as specified & as directed.
Material and labour for servicing of load break switch suitable for 11KV HT by dismantling the existing cable connections with the LBS/ HT isolator and repairing the on/off operating lever along with spring mechanism for charging/discharging of the breaker, cleaning of all the HT contacts with the anti corrosive liquid spay, repairing the alignment of the contacts all as specified and directed, all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note: a) All the minor parts required for the repair of the LBS are included in the above rate
Supplying and laying in repairs synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2.5 mm thick for voltage up to 11 kv for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m. complete all as specified and as directed.
Supplying & laying in repair including testing of XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, HT UG electric cable in trenches/wall/cable tray/saddling/GI pipe or specified as per site requirement with stranded aluminum conductor 11 KV grade of size 3 core 300 Sqmm.
Supply, jointing & testing Indoor end termination cable joininting kit, heat shrinkable type 11 KV HT joint kit suitable for PVC / XLPE insulated stranded aluminium conductor of size 3 core 240 sqmm to 300 Sqmm all as specified and as directed.
Supply, jointing & testing straight through type cable joininting kit heat shrinkable 11 KV HT joint kit suitable for 3 core 240 Sqmm to 400 Sqmm PVC / XLPE insulated stranded aluminium conductor all as specified and as directed.
Taking down carefully old unserviceable UG cable of any size from the trenches/wall/pole and keeping aside for reuse and remove the unserviceable cable from site after affording credit depending on its serviceability state including removal of brick/PCC cable cover complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing of Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) panel of the Capacity up to 600 KVAR complete comprising any type capacitors, APFC relay, MCCB, Cooling Fan, Voltmeter, Ammeter, CTs with all other connected accessories, checking of serviceability of each component, cleaning all contact points, tightening of all connections including replacement of unserviceable components, thimbles, nut bolt and washers, etc if necessary, cleaning the entire panel by using hot blower complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Servicing,Inspecting,checking,cleaning by using of blower, Lubrication ,greasing and carrying out preventive maintenance of ACB up to 2000 Amps with all other connected accessories, checking of serviceability of each component, cleaning all contact points, tightening of all connections including replacement of unserviceable components, thimbles, nut bolt and washers, etc if necessary and ACB in serviceable condition, testing all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and labour for Maintenance and attending complaints / breakdowns at PIER 5,Tunnel and co point comprising of HT/LT panels, Bus bar trunking/ underground LT cables up to co point, including repairs of day to day maintenance for smooth & trouble free power supply to PIER 5 as directed by Engr-In-charge.

Note :- The rate quoted is inclusive for the following :-
(i) (a) Attending minor repairs/breakdowns without involving any new (major) materials. (b) Cost includes the tools for attending break down and minor materials like lugs and PVC tapes, Job Cards and Complaint registers etc. (c) Major repairs, Break downs involving Supply and fix of materials such as cables,Joints,MCCBs etc are out side the scope of this item and shall be measured and paid separately.
(ii) Contractor should ensure to carry out the work through qualified Technician/Electrician and assisted by the helper. Necessary tools & plants and transportation charges are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (iii) On completion of the task/attending break down necessary Job card duly signed by the stake holder.
