The job also includes the formation of suitable opening at the requisite spots for installation of suction pipes. The job is to carried out as per the instructions of engineer in-charge. Providing, fitting and testing of 3 Ton electric winch machine for extracting/dragging the motors from the foundation blocks to the CGI shed located above Highest flood level. The Winch machine is to be fitted in the already available CGI shed. Specification of the Winch Machine shall be as under: No. of phases : 3 phase Capacity : 3 ton Voltage : 440 V Motor Power : Not less than 5 Hp Rope Length : Not less than 55 Mtrs. Wire Thickness : Not less than 10mm Motor Winding : Copper. the job also inlcudes Providing and fitting of Copper electrical cables, control switches suitable for operation of the winch machine. The winch machine shall also be enabled with a suitable braking mechanism.

Providing and fitting of 0.45mm or greater thickness rib profiled coloured sheets for electrical gadgets/staff having 1000 to 1020mm cover width, 25-35mm high crests at 200-250mm with polymer coated threaded bolts of suitable dia. excluding the cost of purlin and rafters. Plate earthing of electrical equipment at site as per IS 3043. The equipment which shall be earthed at site are given as under: - 400 Amp. LT panel = 1 no. 75 HP capacity starters = 3 Nos. 45 kw sq. cage Induction motors = 2Nos. C.G.I shed= 02 No. The earthing of the above equipment involves following processes: - Earthing pit (01 no.) The pit size shall be 2’.0 x 2’.0 and 8’.0 deep. The pit shall be along on back sides of the pump house at suitable distance away from the pump wall. A GI plate of size of 600x600x6mm shall be placed in the excavated pit. The plate shall be embedded in charcoal and common salt laid in layers. The plate shall be properly bolted to GI strip of sufficient length for connecting the plate to the main strip through a GI pipe 32mm NB medium class with funnel at the top. The pit shall be refilled back with excavated earth and its ramming.
