REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING RAILWAY TRACK CST-9 STEEL SLEEPER AND STEEL POINTS and CROSSING TO PSC SLEEPER / PSC POINTS CROSSINGS WORKS AT ALUMINA PLANT, NALCO DAMANJODI

Amount

Supply of 40mm size hard granite stone ballast of machine crushed and stacking at various locations along railway track inclusive of all labour, supervision, materials, Tools & Plants (7.5% of stack Measurement will be deducted for voids to arrive at the quantity for payment).

Leading ballast from above stacks, putting in to track and thorough packing inclusive of all labour, supervision and Tools & Plant in NALCO Railway siding at Damanjodi including leveling etc. all complete from all leads.

Replacement of existing wooden / CST-9 / steel trough sleeper to PSC Sleeper as jointly identified with all labour, supervision and Tools & Plants etc. complete (sleepers and fittings will be issued at NALCO stores free of cost) including return of the salvaged sleepers to NALCO stores with all lead & lift in Railway siding of NALCO, Damanjodi.(Lifting & packing and deep screening will paid sepertely if required) 1) Pre-stressed Concrete sleeper of 52KG / 60 KG.

Replacing & renewing the existing scabbed / wheel burnt rails of 52 Kg /60 Kg with New 52 Kg / 60 Kg rails with all lead & lift including drilling holes to the rails to suit the fish plate holes, fixing new rails in place of removed rails with 52 Kg / 60 Kg rails to existing track with dog spikes / required keys to required gauge, cant and level, bolting & tightening the joints, slewing to the required alignment and minor leveling/ released rails and fittings etc., at all the places of NALCO siding returning the balance materials to NALCO store etc., all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge including all tools & tackles, plant & labours only under traffic working conditions.( All THE RAILS &FITTINGS WILL BE SUPPLIED FREE OF COST BY NALCO IT'S STORE POINT).

Drilling of holes up to 32mm dia. to B.G. rails/ rails web 60 Kg/52Kg/ 90R of all the track at P.Way yards of NALCO as directed by Engineer-In-Charge including handling of rails in full length ( upto 13M) within all lead & lift as required for drilling holes & stacking the drilled rails as required etc., all complete including tools, plant and labour charges only.

Repairs to the B.G. Track including 3" (8cm average) lifting and packing with ballast keeping to the gauge, cant, level and alignment re-gauging, overhauling etc all sorts of maintenance to Permanent Way track under traffic working as directed by Engineer-in-charge complete including all tools, plants and labours charges only.

Pulling back creep including re-spacing of displaced sleepers with average creep of 6" (150mm) on both sides of track including all tools, plant & labours etc all complete.

Dismantling of existing railway track work with all permanent way materials like rails, all type of sleepers, fittings check rails, switches, stretcher bars, lever box, fastening etc., site clearing work, salvaging and sorting of dismantled materials and separate out reusable materials and return to NALCO store if required for B.G. railway track etc. all complete.

Shifting or slewing of B.G. track later ally upto a shift of one metre including opening of track, slewing of track in stages to the required alignment, squaring of sleepers and leveling, cant, re-gauging where ever required including all tools, plant & labours as directed by Engineer-in-charge under traffic working conditions etc., all complete.

Dismantling of existing railway track work with all permanent way materials like rails, all type of sleepers, fittings check rails, switches, stretcher bars, lever box, fastening etc., site clearing work, salvaging and sorting of dismantled materials and separate out reusable materials and return to NALCO store if required for B.G. railway track etc. all complete.

Laying of point and crossing complete with 1 in 8.5 points & crossing both straight or curved switches of 60 Kg/52 Kg complete with switch, lead rails & CMS crossing complete set along with PSC sleepers including approach sleepers as per the I.R.S. drawing,including initial and first packing ,fixing of hand lever and connecting rod complete as required, fixing of leading and following stretched bars ,making point ready for operation, painting of sleepers spacing on gauge face of the rails ,painting and letter writing of month and offsets in points & crossings all works and returning the old salvaged materials to NALCO's Store as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charage. Dismantaling of existing points&crossing will be paid separtely.(ALL THE SLEEPERS & FITTINGS WILL BE SUPPLIED FREE OF COST BY NALCO AT IT'S STORE POINT)
