REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF LT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, FEEDER PILLAR BOXES AND MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS IN OMQ AND NP AREA UNDER GE (AF) LOHEGAON AT AIR FORCE STATION PUNE

Dismantling / taking out insulator of any size / type from existing electric LT lines complete.

Dismantling / taking out existing ACSR conductor any size from existing over head lines incl disconnection complete all as directed.

Disconnecting of incoming / outgoing cables and earthing lead and taking out existing unserviceable outdoor feeder pillar box / Panel and removing unserviceable pillar box / Panel with frame from the PCC foundation complete all as directed.

Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections, clamps, nut bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing of serviceable cross arms, channel or angle sections obtained under above item No.6 including painting of cross arms with two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified including necessary welding complete all as directed at site.

Material and labour for disconnecting serviceable LT cable of any size and core from LT poles and terminate it into LT panel using suitable aluminium lugs, cable glands and other accessories. The cable shall be laid underground and jointing of cable to be done if falls short to the LT panel complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Cost of aluminium lugs, cable glands and termination of cable into LT panel shall be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Excavation, returning , refilling , crushed sand, brick cover and jointing kit will be measured and paid seperately.

Material and labour for relaying of existing LT cable of any size up to 50 Sqmm 3.5/4 core under the ground complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, returning , refilling , crushed sand, brick cover will be measured and paid seperately.

Material and labour for relaying of existing LT cable of any size above 50 Sqmm 3.5/4 core to 300 Sqmm 3.5 core under the ground complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, returning , refilling , crushed sand, brick cover will be measured and paid seperately.

Material and labour for servicing of LT panel duly isolated / de-energize the supply of LT panel of capacity ranging from 200 Amps to 1000 Amps and voltage 415/230 volts. The maintenence includes the following tasks:- (i) Cleaning of burnt Bus bar using CTC chemical. (ii) Taking out all incoming and ougoing cables from the LT panel and also taking out cable loop from ground. (iii) Removing old insulation and providing new heat shrink insulating sleeves, connecting and fixing in the same panel using new GI nut bolts washers of suitable size. (iv) Removing of old and broken cable connectors in the LT panel and providing new connectors of suitable capacity and fixing in the same panel using nut bolts and other accessories. (v) Removing of burnt and worn out lugs from the cables and replace it with new aluminium lugs of suitable size and capacity as per the size of the cable. (vi) Removing of worn out connecting wires inside the panel and replace it with new wires of suitbale capacity and size. Note:Cost of all material as mentioned above required for maintenance must be included in the quoted rate

Repair/ overhauling of LT Air Circuit breakers of capacity 630 to 1000 amps, 3pole/ 4 pole and replacement of minor items like springs, washers, bolts, nuts and other insulating material including calibration and testing of control and protection devices of equipments in the following steps all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:- (i) Disconnecting and taking out the breaker after taking shut down of the respective panel and check the defects. (ii) Overhauling the ACB by opening all parts and lubricating the moving parts as per requirement. (iii) Re-assembling the air circuit breaker complete, installing to its original position, testing and commissioning the breakers for both tripping and closing mechanism for proper fucntioing of the breaker all as specified and directed

Material and labour for painting to existing steel tubular poles 7/9/11 mtr long including cross arms,looping box,GI pipe bracket,clamps etc. with one coat of aluminium paint including preparation of surfaces and feeder name and pole number with zebra type painting upto 6 feet from bottom with alternate patch of size 1 foot of white and light blue colour paint complete all as directed.

Material & Labour for painting to feeder pillar box / LT panel & duct cover etc, including angle iron frame with two coat of grey synthetic enamel paint including welding of door with proper size new hinges of suitable size and locking arrangements where required complete as specified.

Taking down and Supply & fix line separator suitable for LT OH line of 3 phase and neutral conductor complete as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No.14 above but single phase and neutral conductor.

Trimming of trees not exc 30 cm girth including cutting of upper portion of branches and disposal of same at a distance not exc 50 mtr and clearing of site complete as directed.(Note:Tools/ladder required for cutting/trimming of trees will be provided by the contractor at no extra cost and cost of the same be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.) Note:Each Span will be measured from one pole to another pole

Provn of services for cable fault location for LT UG cable, XLPE insulated 1100 Volts, of any size with fault detector machine complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for straight through jointing kits heat shrinkable type LT UG XLPE cable heavy duty armoured sheathed including excavation in any strata, taking out cable, and making disturbed surface after relaying the cable making joints suitable for aluminium conductor of size given below all as specified and directed.

Supplying, spreading & leveling stone aggregate size of 20 mm grade to the existing sub station or all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply install, test and commissioning of indoor type LT Panel Powder coated, free standing type compartmentalized in construction, front & back openable with locking arrangment, the panel shall be manufactured from CPRI approved fabrictor made out of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet & suitable size as apporved by GE to accomodate all accessories / fittings, MCCB, MCB, Contactors and TPN Copper bus bars. The TPN copper bus bars shall be of rating 1.5 times of the incomer MCCB/CHangeover, and shall be insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeve and shall be mounted on DMC/epoxy insulator. The bus bar shall have copper extension links for connecting with out going MCCB of rating 125 Amps. The Out Going MCCB 125 Amps & above Shall be provided with copper extension link & copper bus bar for connecting the cables. The cubicle shall have a bottom channel & free standing frame made of angle iron of size not less than 50 mm X 50mm X 6mm & detachable predrilled gland plateof thickness not less than 3 mm thick powder coated should be used at the bottom for entry of armoured cable of adequate size with glands.The above panel shall be front & Back openable lockable /openable by key from both sides.

The panel shall be Dust, vermin proof and powder coated of approved thickness complete including CTs, control wiring by 1.5Sqmm Wire and consisting the following, including taking down of old unsv panel after disconnecting Existing cables, & Reconnecting the cables to new panels, replacing of cable glands, lungs and including PCC foundation, excevation, foundation bolts Note - The Layout diagram of panel shall be submitted for contractor & got appoved from GE before fabrication.
